the baby shower

"oh my god" clary squeaked as she looked around she. she totally forgot about what had happened at takis. the room was decorated with bunting that had little babies on each triangle and blue and pink paper chains there was also hundreds of  helium filled balloones that said congratulations and there was tons of prezzies. "surprise" everyone yelled as each of them jumped out from behind a piece of furniture. " oh my god thank you so much" clary said with her hands at her mouth. happy tears were streaming out of her eyes. "it was izzys idea" jace said smiling. clary hobbled over to izzy and wrapped her in a hug speechless " well we couldn't have a baby... sorry 2 babies without a baby shower now could we" she said laughing at the emotional clary. clary walked around every one in the room giving all of them a hug and a thank you although she gave jace a quick peck on the lips "wow this is all so beautiful and not being rude but do you mind if I sit down, these two are getting soooo heavy" clary gestured to her stomach which made everyone laugh " of course honey" Jocelyn said extending her hand which clary gratefully took as Jocelyn helped her to the couch.

"wooo lets open some prezzies" magnus yelled in a high pitched voice that made clary giggle. everyone then picked up some presents and gathered around clary since she couldn't move. me first simon said before anyone else could. he handed clary over  2 parcels. everyone watched as she opened the first one. clary laughed as she saw what was inside. he had got 4 sets of gamers t's like his own. 2 for their baby girl and 2 for their baby boy and in the second parcel was can of whipped cream and a Minnie chocolate cake "hahaha si I love them" clary said as she lent down to give him a hug. then she opened her present from magnus who had got them baby friendly glitter, a tiny sparkly baby tuxedo similar to his and a fancy little glittery blue baby dress. jace put his head in his hands and moaned which just made clary laugh 10 times harder " Look again" magnus whispered with a smirk so clary did just that. at the very bottom of the bag was a duck whistle so while jace still had his head in his hands clary blew into it making a loud duck noise. jace screamed like a girl and got into an attac position until he realised everyone was laughing thier heads off, then he realised that it was just clary and a bloomin duck whistle. he snatched it out of her hands dropped it on the floor and stood on it crushing it to pieces " NO. bad clary. that was not funny" he said extremly serious but clary just high fived magnus giggling "hahahaha yes it was " clary stuttered. next izzy had bought them both a set of ear plugs which she was sure they would be grateful for she also got them a cute little monkey teddy and a cute little rabbit teddy each wearing battle gear and had minnie daggers "oh izzy im sure they will love them" clary said hugging her. then alec handed over his presents. in it was a belly moulding kit " I thought that maybe you could paint something nice on it then you will always have a reminder. plus im sure jace can help you with it" he said with a grin " haha sure as hell I will" jace said in a cheeky tone "oh god" Jocelyn laughed slightly. she had been more comfortable around jace ever since she found out her daughter was pregnant with his kids. alec had also got them two small sets of training  gear for when they were slightly older. jace high fived alec "great choice man" .maia and Jordan handed clary a parcel. clarys smile beamed as she saw the scrapbook they had got for her and jace and their soon to be family "we are sorry its not more" Jordan said "oh my god don't say that. we don't expect you to get us anything" she said as she gave them both a hug. then luke disappeared and came back a second later pushing something. clary puled herself up to walk over to it with the help of jace. she ripped of the wrapping paper and squealed as she saw the pushchair that izzy had pointed out in her baby mag the other night. (tje one with his side and her side in diferent colours)" well I caught you re looking at it with jace later the other night so I talked to your mother and we went in and got it today while you were out with iz" luke explained " thanx" jace said as he gave Jocelyn and luke a hug with clary doing the same. then maryse and Robert handed over their present as clary sat back down. both jace and clary laughed as they opened it to find a wash basket full of spare wipes, nappies, socks, sudacream and tiny onzies "trust me you will need it" Robert said laughing
