clary was now in the seventh month of her pregnancy and was starting to find walking long distances without help hard. and since she was having twins her bump was massive however she was one of the lucky ones who didn't have odd grumpy mood swings every half hour but whenever she was feeling down jace was always there for her like he  promised.

as they days went on clary stayed in more and more but izzy had managed to convince her to come out to takis with the rest of the group. she refused at first because she was worried that kaelie might try and hurt her and her babies again but isabelle told her that no one would let kaelie touch clary and if she did she would get a good pounding from izzy which made clary laugh.

the little bell above the door to takis dinged as alec, magus, isabelle, simon, maia, Jordan, jace and clary walked in. clary and jaces arms were interlinked so that jace could help clary walk. they both had their wings tucked in to keep them out of the way as they sat down in a booth. "hi what would you like to order" kaelie asked as she stared at jace. both clary and izzy tensed up, jace didn't understand why. he thought it was because she was his ex but why would that effect izzy. everyone placed their orders, jace ordered pancakes clary ordered waffles and syrup izzy, alec and magnus ordered a coffee maia and Jordan ordered pancakes and bacon and simon just ordered a pint of blood. "is that all" kaelie asked in her most innocent voice "I would also like u fired but that's not gonna happen" izzy muttered under her breath so only kaelie and clary could hear. clary let out a laugh but quickly coved it as kaelie sent her a venomous look and everyone else looked at her funny. "yes that's all thank you" simon said as she walked of click clacking her heels.

so what kind of dress do you want" izzy asked as they waited for their orders "I told you iz we are not planning anything until these babies are born" clary replied. isabelle just huffed like a child " so do you have any names for them yet then " asked Jordan " yeah we were thinking ricky and Stephen" jace said "ooooh I love it" magnus cheered. they carried on talking about baby stuff and downworld gossip when their was a scream.

everyone turned to look at who the scream came from...clary... her face was a mask of pain and her hair and back were drenched and steam was coming of them. behind her was kaelie holding a jug with a big grin on her face. no one but izzy understood what had happened and she was instantly pinning the bitch to the wall within a second. " oh I cant believe you tried that again you bitch" izzy yelled at her "but this time I succeeded " she said with a grin. everyone looked back at clary who was in agony with her wings widely spread, her back arched, face red and panting in pain.

then it clicked in and they all realized what had happened and just like that jace spun clary and ripped the back or her steaming hot shirt off. her back was all red and was starting to blister "jace her wings" alec said worriedly. her wings were shaking and where the boiling water had touched them the feathers had come off and they were bleeding "someone give me a stele now" he yelled and izzy who was still pinning down kaelie chucked her stele over to him. he quickly drew and iratz on her back but it obviously hurt as hell as she let out a scream as soon as the tip of it touched her back.

simon moved to kneel down in front of clary as he took her hands in his to sooth her. the iratz stopped the skin from blistering and took away some of the pain and redness but not all of it as clary was still crying out in pain " magnus it isn't working" alec said watching jace who was trying to draw another as it just faded out "she must of used some sort of fairy chemical"  magnus replied. he came and took jaces position behind clary and blue sparks started coming out of his finger tips "what the hell have you done to her" maia screamed at kaelie who was still smiling "Its ok its healed now. it was just boiling water mixed with fairy dust so that a normal rune couldn't heal it" magnus was right, clarys back wasn't red any more and her wings were healed but she still let out a loud cry as she doubled over and clutched her stomach which worried everyone. there was even a small crowd who looked slightly worried as they knew what the consequences were if you hurt and angel. "clary...clary what is it" jace asked panicking "I-its ok, they... they are just discomforted by my pain. it will go in a minute" clary whispered talking about the babies.
