thats great news (the mortal instruments)

its time

clary was now eight months pregnant and counting. she was so big now that she was finding it extremely hard to move at all. she was also often in in pain. her back was aching from the weight and they were moving a lot more in side her so her tummy was quite sore as well. they moved so much that whenever jace was with clary he always had his hands in her bump so that he could feel them kicking under his hand. her craving had also gotten worse so all clary ever ate now was mainly cake and cream. no one new why clary had never gotten a weird caving like pickles or custard and fish fingers and they were also surprised that clary never got fat. never the less sometimes her craving was so bad that she would start crying if they didn't have any cake or cream left.

it was just simon and clary in the institute at the minute because  jocelyn, luke, maryse and robert had to go to alicante on clave business but maryse had promised to try to get back for clarys labour. jace, alec, izzy and magnus had gone out to fight a small hoard of demons  

"si please can you get me some cake" "let me guess and cream as well" clary gave a slightly embarrassed smile "yes please" she said as she to pull herself of the couch she had been lying on all day "where are you going" simon asked worriedly "just to the toilet... calm down I can look after myself" she replied with a 'try me' look " ok ok I just worry about you... you find it hard to sit up on your own let alone walk so excuse me for worrying for my best friend" simon said in holding up his hands in surrender.   

simon left to get clarys cake and clary was just at the door when she screamed and fell to the floor "SIMON"

simon dropped the plate he was using as he heard clary scream for him. he ran straight to the living room to find clary in a crumpled in a heap at the door "clary- clary what is it.. whats wrong" he asked panicked as he picked her up and carried her over to the couch " my water broke and I think im in labour" she panted "okay...emm... breath and I will phone jace okay" "o-o-o-okayyyy" she panted as she scrunched up her face

simon got out his phone as he knelt next to clary and held her hand... "jace its simon" "is clary okay" jace asked worriedly "I think shes gone into labour and she keeps screaming" in the background he heard izzy scream. god she had good hearing. "ok we will be there in five. we are on our way now." and with that he hung up. clary was no longer screaming and she seemed to be in less pain now "are you ok" simon asked "yeah that was just a contraction" she said sounding normal again

five minutes later the institute door slammed open and there was a stampede of footsteps. then jace, izzy, alec and magnus rushed in. jace came to clarys side where simon was as he left to stand beside izzy "oh my god this is so exiting" she screeched and everyone just turned their heads to stare at her "oh right.. not the right time" she said with a nod of her head "ya think" clary replied "are you ok " jace asked "yeah but what are we going to do, maryse is in Alicante" "i'll phone her " there is no point. simons tried that but she wont answer" "iv tried everyone as well but I never got an answer either so they must be at a meeting" alec said" did you leave a message "yep" alec said popping the p. "we will have to take her to a hospital" magnus said speaking for the first time "ok where is the nearest one" jace asked looking at simon but clary replied before simon could say anything " jace we cant go to a mundane hospital unless you want to explain to them why exactly im giving birth to angel babies" clary said knocking some sense into him " yeah that will be pretty hard to explain" magnus interrupted " take her to the one in idris. im sure magnus could portal us" "yeah im up for that" clary said "I will give them a phone first to see if there is anything we to do first" magnus said as he left the room " jace you need to go and pack four bags. one for me one for you and two for the babies" clary said "on it jace said as he left the room "im going to let Jordan and maia know" and simon left the room.
