thats great news (the mortal instruments)

getting ready

"CLARY, CLARY, CLARY" izzy screeched as she belly flopped onto clary who 2 minutes ago was sound asleep "urgggg" clary grunted from under the covers " clary get tour fat butt out of bed it your big dayyyy" she carried on screeching. clary peeked out from under the covers at her alarm on her bedside table. it was 10:00am " izzy why are you waking me up so early" clary moaned "the wedding starts at 2:00" "I know that dummy but I have plans and I know what im doing, remember I did your mums makeup and stuff at her wedding and remember how long that took" clary sleepily crawled out of bed and slowly stood up. at least let me go down and have breakfast first" she begged " urg fine but don't take to long I don't want to fall behind schedule" izzy said smiling and with that clary popped on her slippers and headed to the kitchen with izzy close behind.

clary took out some waffles from the cupboard " do you want any" she asked izzy before she put them away " no thank you I had breakfast" izzy said as she took a seat. clary popped the waffles into the toster and got out the golden syrup just as the toaster popped. she placed them on a plate covered them with syrup got out some apple juice and plonked down on the seat next to izzy. she was still half asleep " so is everyone else still in bed then " clary askes jealous "im not sure I think so but when I came to get you I passed alec going to jaces room" "well at least im not the only one to get forced up" clary joked mockingly gaining herself a slap from izzy "oww" clary squealed as she finished her waffles and put her plate in the sink. not being hungry definitely helped her wake up. izzy then grabbed her hand and dragged clary back to her room "come on now its time to get you ready" she said jumping up and down like a little girl who was about to get some ice cream.

2hours and a lot of glitter, make up, hair pulling. hair spray and hair curling later izzy was finally done with clarys make up and hair. now for the dress.

izzy let clary stand up but told her that if she dared look in the mirror she would poke her eyes out. so clary dint even peek as izzy went out to fetch her dress. a couple of minutes later izzy was back in the room and was unzipping the bag that the dress was in. when she took it out clary gasped she hadn't seen it before and it was gorgeous. although the colour for shadowhunter wedding was gold clary had always dreamed of a white wedding and since she was raised as a mundane for a big chunk of her life her and izzy had compromised. the dress was white with a gold band around her waist and gold trimmings. izzy then covered clarys eyes and led her to the mirror she then uncovered clarys eyes.

clary gasped

she looked stunning. the dress was strapless and had a train that wasn't too long but it wasn't too short. it clung snugly to her curves until it got to her hips in which it then flowed nicely to the floor. izzy then appeared by her side again with a pair of 4 inch white heats covered with gold crystals.. clary put them on. her make up was gorgeous and her hair was in a fancy up do. izzy was waiting patiently with her fists clenched and holding her breath " wow.. izzy...I... its amazing" clary said sounding blown away "oh thank god I was scared you didn't like it cos you never said anything for ages" she said happily admiring her work " izzy who doesn't like your work... its...wow" izzy told clary to wait there and not to sneak of to see jace while she went to fetch Jocelyn and luke.

clary turned as the door opened and in walked her parents. she ran over to them and rapped them in a hug
