A/N: So I will now update every Wednesday and maybe some Saturdays.... I'm surprised I'll be this organized but I really want this story to be a huge success. So, enjoy this chapter, which is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. :)

---

All I could say was I was not excited to go to the Cavern Club again. It was always crowded and sweaty, and I just didn't feel myself there. But I knew how much this meant to Paul, and he was my friend, and it was important to be a good friend.

Right?

I decided to look decent tonight- I wore a sleeveless plum dress with ankle high boots, with pantyhose. I put on silver earrings, along with a matching necklace and one my prized possessions: My charm bracelet. I only had one charm on it, which was a music note, but the bracelet meant a lot to me. I curled my hair and put on some makeup, messing up a few times.

I looked myself in the mirror, and remembered being a kid.

Flashback:

"Hey kiddo," My big sister said while picking me up and spinning me around, while I giggled like crazy, showing utter joy to me my sister. I missed her so much since she went to college, enjoying her life as she deserved.

"You've grown so much."

End of flashback

"You've grown so much," I whispered while staring in the mirror. When I remembered it, I realized that I was always changing, and always becoming something different. I needed to find myself, and I knew I needed to try.

Suddenly, the doorbell rung, snapping me out of my train of thought. I ran down the stairs, tripping a few times in my boots, while making sure everything was in my purse. I stopped in front of the door, smoothing my skirt and taking a deep breath. I opened the door and frowned when I saw my brother.

"Sorry to disappoint you," Chris said while walking in. I looked out and saw Paul just coming out of his house holding a flower, and his guitar case. I looked at him, as he smiled, seeming excited. Suddenly I panicked and slammed the door shut.

"Open the door for me when Paul comes," I told Chris while walking up the stairs. He rolled his eyes and waited by the door while I his in the bathroom. My goal was to make the biggest scene and use my attracting attention skills to impress Paul. Have a little fun with it, right?

I heard the doorbell sound, and I reached my hand to door, completely prepared.

"Cristina!"

I opened the door and and started down the stairs, looking at the stairs, feeling both their eyes on me. I looked up and came in front of Paul with a soft smile.

"Ready," I asked him while pulling on a jacket. He only nodded as I shut the door behind me, before Chris could go over any rules.

"You look really n-nice," Paul said, nervous about something. "Thanks," I said while raising my eyebrow. We stayed silent for a minute, listening to the cars in the distance, the pattering of our shoes, and other sounds that echoed throughout the city. After a another minute, I decided I would have to be the one ot start the conversation.

"Is something wrong," I asked him as we continued to walk. He stayed silent for a moment, but he knew I was looking at him. "I don't know why," he started. "But I'm nervous about playing tonight."

"Hey, I'm sure you'll do great, I said to him. He smiled at me, hiw face turning slightly pinkish. He looked down and then up again, this time showing the flower.

"I just remembered this," he said while handing it to me. It was a simple pink flower, nothing to special, but somehow I loved every simple part of it. "Thank you," I told him while twirling it between my fingers.  "You're welcome," Paul said to me. Pand I chatted for a little about the songs they were going to play tonight, till we arrived at The Cavern. I sighed while he opened the door for me, and I already started coughing from the smell of cigarettes. We walked down the steps, back into the prison that was this club. Suddenly, Paul took my hand.

"I don't want to lose you again," he said. I smiled at him, and how he actually cared. We started to walk through the crowd, that was dancing, talking, drinking, and laughing. We almost made it backstage when I suddenly lost hold of Paul's head, and got lost in the middle of the crowd. I looked around, suddenly realizing I didn't know anyone around. I stood there awkwardly, hoping someone would save me.

Thank god someone did.

A girl, who looked about my age, came up to me, holding two drinks. "Hey I got the drin- Oh I'm sorry you're the wrong person," she said to me. "No it's fine... I don't really know anyone anyways so yeah," I said calmly. "Oh you don't know anyoe here? Did you jsut move in?" She acted so... excited to be talking to me. It made me feel somewhat wanted. "Yeah, just about a week ago or so," I told her. "Wow, and it's your first time coming here?" The questions were going by, one after aother, and soon, she gave me her friends drink and talked like we were good friends. I found out that her name was Penny, and her friend's name was Laura. Laura ended up showing up ten minutes later, with her own drink. We continued to talk and laugh till the show started.

--------

The show was actually pretty fantastic, and I had a great time with Laura and Penny. We ended up exchanging addresses and phone numbers to meet up again, and I decided to wait around for Paul, who should be coming out any moment. I waited for about ten minutes, sipping on a glass of water from the bar, and starting to become impatient till I saw a familiar face.

"Hey Cristina, how have you been," John asked while walking up to me. "I'm okay," I said while to look for Paul without being too noticable. "Did you enjoy the show," John asked me while sitting next to me. "Yeah, I thought you guys did a great job," I told him, while leaving my money on the counter for the few drinks I did have. I was surprised though because usually wouldn't they ask for your I.D.? I shook of the thought and chatted for John, still waiting for Paul, till I looked at the clock and saw it was 11:30, almost midnight.

"Sorry John, but I have to get going," I said while getting off my the seat and walking up the stairs. John picked up his guitar and followed me. "Coudl I accompany you home," John asked me. "Sure," I said while walking outside and pulling on my sweater. We walked to my home in a happy mood, talking about all kinds of different things. Eventually, we arrived at my house.

"Thanks for walking me home," I told John while pulling out my key. "Um Cristina," he started, sounding more sincere. I looked up at him, waiting for something. "I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go out sometime," he asked, asking somewhat innocently but there was a hidden confidence.

"Sure," I said, with a genuine smile. "Great, I'll call you tomorrow," John said while walking down the steps. "Bye," he called while starting down the street. I waved happily, before opening the door and closing it behind me.

While getting ready for bed, I thought about how excited I was for a date for John. As I was getting in bed, I remembered one problem.

Paul.

Oh fuck.
