Ben sat next to Alex who was sound asleep on the hospital bed. When Wolf had contacted him and told him that Alex was alright, he was thrilled. They had brought him back to his room after some coaxing.
They had received a call from Mrs Jones after she had returned to the Royal and General Bank the night before and had filled her in on what had happened. Mrs Jones had a talk with the Sergeant and they had come to an agreement that Alex come with them back to Breacon Beacons.
Alex had been asleep a few hours now. Ben had brought him some sandwhiches and a hot chocolate drink in case he woke up and was feeling hungry.
It was funny really. The first time Alex had arrived at Breacon Beacons was over a year ago and he wasn't accepted by his unit, not even him. But now, K-Unit had considered him one of their own and would do anything to protect their little Cub.
"Ben?" Ben was snapped out of his thoughts, he looked down at Alex who wasn't awake. He was mumbling in his sleep. "He sleep talks?" Ben bent down and put a hand on Alex's arm. "I'm here, Alex. I'll always be here. Your Guardian Angel."
