Chapter- 11

"Kai...? How... How.. could you? How could you do that?!" I stuttered, I couldn't believe what I just heard.

"I... I am sorry. When I saw that The Shadow lied to me and took Nya away, I decided to tell you..." Kai replied, with his head low.

"But, WHY?!" I asked in shock.

" I... Skylor.. I am sorry, " Kai said, avoiding my question.

"You didn't answer my question, " I replied impatiently. Did Kai say Skylor? Is he blinded by love again?!

"I'm sorry... Lloyd. I'm such a horrible friend. I...Skylor wanted me to help her, I couldn't say no to her, right? I mean... When you are in love, Lloyd, you just can't just say no. " Kai admitted. I shook my head and sighed. Doesn't Kai listen to his OWN conscience? When I'm in love?! I don't think that will EVER happen. 

"Kai, what happened between you and Skylor exactly?" I asked, trying to dig up the truth from Kai.

"She...She... said... She told me, Kai, I need your help. And I agreed. When she said she wanted to break up with me, I was... really shocked. Then she said, she told me... That.. if I tricked you, she would be my friend. Of course, I said no. But, but then she said to me, pretend to be kidnapped. So then, I agreed. But then, The Shadow tricked me, he kind of killed me. But then, you saved me. So..." Kai muttered as he hung his head in shame.

" So, you listened to her instead of your conscience?" I said angrily.

"It's not like that! I did think! But, she reminded me of the time when I wanted to be the green ninja... So... I decided to take action... You know.. It's not fair that someone like YOU got to be the green ninja. I mean, YOU were evil at that time..." Kai said darkly.

"So... You still think you are the green ninja?! Kai! When can you wake up?! I expected more from you!!" I frowned as I said angrily.

"I'm... I'm very sorry... Please forgive me.." Kai apologised to me. I smiled and forgave Kai. No point getting mad with Kai for too long.

"Let me see your leg, Kai. Does it hurt?" I asked, bending down to examine Kai's leg. When I touched the wound, light came out. It almost blinded me. I fell backwards from the impact. When I got up, I saw that Kai's wound was no longer there. In fact, it actually disappeared!

"What... What did you do to my leg?!" Kai asked in amazement.

"I don't know!" I admitted, "But, anyways, let's go save Nya now!" I stretched out my hand and pulled Kai up.

"I still don't get it... You mean you got a new power...? " Kai muttered

"I don't think so, but, let's go!" I said, smiling. We were just about to leave but Jay blocked our exit.
