Chapter- 9

"So, you want me to just... Hurt myself?!" Kai said he could not believe what I just said.

"Kai, I remembered that The Shadow said if you or Cole get hurt, I will get your strength back! We need to try it!" I insisted.

"Are you crazy?! How would hurting myself help you?! Don't you care about me?!" Kai shouted.

" Kai, please understand, this the only way we can bust out of here! " I said, getting impatient. Doesn't Kai care about the safety of Cole?!

"What?! I thought you loved me?!" Kai said

"Kai! What are you talking about?! I love you in a brotherly way. Remember?!" I put in.

"I love you in a brotherly way too, Lloyd," Kai said.

"OK,  then let's get out of here!" I said. We need to cut the drama. Nya could be in trouble and Zane could be still sleeping on the forest floor.

"So, what do you want me----" Kai didn't finish his sentence because he heard Nya. The Shadow pulled Nya into the cave where we were chained and saw Kai and me being chained up.

"How! How... Kai!!!" Nya said as she bent down and hugged Kai. The Shadow saw what was happening. In order to prevent Kai and I from saying anything, he blew smoke at us (kai and I) and everything went black.
