Help!

Chapter 1

I could not sleep. Kai was still missing. As a leader, what should I do? After a few minutes, I decided to get breakfast for Jay, Zane, Cole and Nya. Sensei Wu was not with us as he went overseas to buy tea.

I shuffled into the living room in my ninja outfit. Wait, who is that? A shifty figure all dressed in black was roaming around in the living room. It couldn't be Cole. He is still sleeping. So, who was it? 

"Stop, right there! I've caught you!" I yelled. The figure turned around and started laughing.

" Lloyd, our green savior... Hahaha... how funny!"The figure smirked

"Who are you?! Wait, you... are Morro! How did you escape!?" I asked in shock

" I am not Morro, I am his brother, greenie. You destroyed him! I am here to take revenge on his behalf!" The figure yelled at me.

" Don't call me greenie. You.. You took kai right? Return him back to us! NOW!" I yelled

" Yes,  I did, greenie. How smart of you to guess, greenie. I am The Shadow. Lord of Death, Underworld. I took kai. AND he is dying. now, if you want him back..." The Shadow could not finish his sentence as I interrupted him.

" Ugh, not now okay?" I said, trying to get away from him. He reminded me of my dad when he was evil, all dressed in black. Filled with evil thoughts. 

" Not so fast! I am fast talker alright. Ok, see here, Kai, here is being chained up and brutally tortured. But, I can make a deal. If you give up your strengths, which is your powers, kai, here is as free as a bird and you can dance and sing and kiss and do whatever you want. So, what do you say, deal?" The Shadow snapped his fingers and Kai appeared. Kai tried running to me, saying,    " Don't listen to---" But could not finish his sentence as he was being tied up by this black gas-like rope which covered his mouth. Before I could reach Kai, The Shadow snapped his fingers and Kai disappeared again in a pile of smoke.

" Soooo, what do you say? Deal?" The Shadow asked, getting impatient.

" People are...are going to get hurt aren't they?"I asked already  in a dilemma.

" Nah, I mean you are only give up your strengths for only 24 hours, right?I mean, come on! Isn't Kai more important than anything else in the world?" The Shadow said as he walked towards the now appeared Kai(again) and squeezed Kai's cheeks. Kai attempted to protest by shaking his head away from the Lord of Death's bony fingers.

"Stop that!"I shrieked getting worried of how this was getting at.

"Fine! ok, Kai is safe otherwise, you will get your strengths back. ok? Deal? I don't really have the TIME for this, so if you want to agree do it NOW. Going once... going twice..."
