Chapter- 17

"Look here, Lloyd, that was  Skylor.  They are out to trick you. It seems that they are totally out to steal all our powers. I overheard Chen, they said you were the hardest to catch, so they sent Skylor to transform into me and then trick you, she did protest, but, she had to do it because of her dad and Morrow. They needed your power for some experiment, after getting your golden power, they can take Turner's, Gravis's, Karlof's , mine, Jay's and Cole's. But, your golden power plus Cole's super strength gives an extraordinary power. I think, infinite wishes..." Kai explained.

My dad nodded, " It's true, Cole's power is already gone. They just need yours. By all means, you must get out of here! After getting your power, they will experiment on all of us!"

"Experiment?!" I asked, really clueless

"They will take our DNA or in other words, our genes, to make a weapon with all our powers combined, except yours and Cole's, of course, for another thing, and then destroy Ninjago!" Kai shrieked

"Another thing?" I asked Kai

"Like, erm... I think... To free some other bad guy from somewhere... And force Nya into marriage??? How am I supposed to know?!" Kai said irritably.

"Hahahaha! Looks like we got lucky!" Chen came in laughing hysterically.

"It's Lloyd! Our green savior! Hahahaha!" Morrow chuckled

" Turn on the machine, we wasssted too much time!" Pythor hissed

"Take the rest away!" Chen ordered.

"Who are YOU ordering around?! You are the lamest among all of us!" Morrow smirked.

"Do it yourssself!" Pythor hissed

" Skylor!" Chen yelled as he turned around 

"Yes, father?" Skylor asked dragging Nya and Cole behind her.

"Take the rest away!" Chen ordered. Skylor nodded. She threw Cole and Nya into separate cages and locked them up. Then, she went over to a wall and pressed a button. The rest of them disappeared. 

Skylor looked at me in the eye. "I'm sorry, Lloyd, I have to do this," 

Pythor pushed her aside and started the machine. Instantly, I felt the heat. My golden power started coming out of my body. Why?! Why do I always go through these terrible things?!

"We'll leave you here to die. Bye, Lloyd!" Morrow laughed.

As soon as they left, I tried every way to break the glass surrounding me. Then, I looked around, this was the place where The Overlord absorbed my golden energy!
