Chapter 7 Luke
Bootcamp week 2 (starting June 19)
"So what was her final report card?" Kota asked through the screen. Luke had arrived this morning and Silas hadn't left yet. We were sitting in front of the computer, Facetiming my guys.
Silas looked grim, "All areas were tacos."
"Tacos?" I questioned as Owen began speaking as well.
"That just means there is room for improvement all around. We have no need to worry, gentlemen. Miss Sang has always proved resourceful and a quick study." Owen gave one solid nod and that was that.
"Tacos?" I said again now that I wasn't interrupting Owen.
Luke chugged my shoulder playfully, "It just means a U for unsatisfactory. But when you look at a U it is the same shape as a taco, so... Tacos! Man, I could go for some tacos right now." He rubbed his flat stomach as he leaned back lost in thought about food.
I frowned, my shoulders sagging. Am I really cut out for the Academy? Will I be able to prove my worth and be a part of my family's team? If not, what will I do? Can I have the kind of intimate relationship that a marriage entails without knowing all aspects of their lives? Would I feel that the secrecy required for their Academy business would drive a wedge in our family's harmony?
"Pookie, I see you fretting about things that are beyond your control. Pookie?" I could hear Sean talking but my mind was going a hundred miles an hour and I can't shut it off. It's like a runaway train on a crash course for a major station. "Quick! Silas, Luke! One of you kiss those worrisome thoughts right out of her head before we have a real mess to fix!"
Silas's huge hands covered both sides of my face just before his lips enveloped mine. His kissing skills pulled me immediately into a lustful haze. I felt soft whispers of lips trailing up and down my neck and my body began to vibrate with need. Since I lost my virginity the other day, I have been insatiable. It was as if Silas opened up Pandora's box. And I'm not sure we will ever find the key again. Or if I even want to find the key again.
"Ugh! I can't fûcking watch this!" North boomed through the screen.
"Jealous little brother?" I could feel Luke smiling against my shoulder.
Silas chuckled, "I was just following Doc's orders."
By the way Silas held my face, I still couldn't turn to see the others. But I heard a thump like someone or something just got punched. Followed by, "North, that's quite enough!"
I reached up and lightly touched Silas's hand, knowing I needed to calm the raging bull, known as North, down.
"North Star." I looked toward the camera, my hand reaching out to stroke his face on my screen. "Please don't be mad."
He turned his face to look back at the screen and he must be able to see I was reaching out to him because he closed his eyes and touched his cheek with his fingertips. "Sorry, Sang Baby."
Kota commanded, "When we are through here, Nathan take North out for a workout." Both guys nodded.
Gabriel scoot closer to the screen, "Now that we can talk about the most important things, is there anything you need me to bring next week with me? You didn't request for Luke to bring anything with him."
That made a lightbulb go off in my brain. "Yes! Is there anyway for you to make that wonderful lotion with a bit of mosquito repellent?"
Silas laughed next to me. "Gabriel, that lotion was like ambrosia! Mmmmm." He licked his lips and I blushed a crimson red.
