Raining Cats and Witches

What a nice view. If your wondering, yes I'm on the roof. What am I doing? Spying on my friends. I mean, why wouldn't I? It's perfectly normal. They are my best friends after all. I take out my binoculars.

"Oh look, there's Lena. She really likes animals, looks like she got a new pet. No, wait it's running away. Why is Lena crying? Oh, it now makes sense, her pet just died. It got run over by a truck when it tried to run away. Well she'll get a new pet by next week. If you ever want to look for Lena just look for a tall girl with light brown hair and green eyes. She usually can be found around plants or rocks. You might also want to look for the most cheerful person ever (sometimes too much I can't take it anymore) , she also is helpful, loving, caring, and always stand up for others because she can't stand seeing other people sad which kind of makes her very friendly."

"Now onto our next victim." I swing my binoculars around.

Looking through my binoculars I jerked them to the side noticing something strange. "Is that an overgrown tomato with a really bad haircut? Nope, it looks like it's only Phillip. Is he yelling at someone? It looks like he's yelling at a teacher for an unknown reason, well there's really no surprise there. Redheads are usually known for having exploding tempers, and Phillip is no exception. He has a very abnormal personality, getting constantly annoyed with other people making me wonder if that's normal for teenagers, or if he's some kind of alien, well I guess I'll never really know until I find out, he's also a geek who adores computers, he's a hacker and is very intelligent."

"And where is Jason?" I look through my binoculars trying to spot Jason.

"Right here." Jason said in a sing song voice.

I turned around so quickly I fell still holding my binoculars to my face I saw Jason and he also had binoculars and was looking at me with a Cheshire grin. His eyes looked so big with the binoculars.

I huffed and went to sulk in the corner of the roof, after a while I turned and went to the ground floor and looked for a nice tree to climb. I once again searched for Jason and found him sitting in a chair next to Phillip.

"Oh Jason our dear sports loving friend. Phillip and he are buddies and I think they have some kind of bromance going on, kind of like Jason and Percy from the Percy Jackson series, it would almost be comical if Phillip's name was Percy, but shame I guess we can't have it all. Well getting back on topic, he's a tough and strong guy, he's very overprotective even if he doesn't like to admit it, he's also very intelligent, I guess another reason why we all get along so well."

"Hey Lisa! We need to get going! Or they going to leave without us!" Lena shouted at me.

Right, my name is Lisa. I almost forgot to tell you who I am. I'm mysterious, sneaky, smart, sometimes creepy (you already know that), kind of a nut job, funny, athletic, and most of all stealthy. The three people I mentioned before are my best friends. I know Lena since we were babies. Phillip I met him in second year, and Jason I met him a year later. Since then we've all become friends.

The school we are in decided to go on a museum trip, and we all know how that is: boring, but I have good news for all of you I really liked going to our field trips, since I get to lose class and I can watch some very pretty and interesting things.

While we were waking around the museum I saw something that caught my eye, that was luring me toward it, almost like telling me to grab. The class was headed in that direction also and put guide told us that this was a talisman from our very own town Delucia.

The guide started telling us that this talisman belonged to an ancient queen who's name was lost throughout the ages, she came from a far away land no one had ever heard of, they said she was a witch since she could make things appear out of thin air. Suddenly one night she disappeared leaving behind the only thing that was most precious to her the Talisman of Lacea said to bring whoever owned incredible gifts to help others. No one knew if she had died or fled away to get far from the talisman. Some said it was something amazing and incredible, others said it was a curse.

During a war that overcame this town the talisman was lost, only to have been recently found lying in the woods as if someone had been trying to get it away from someone or maybe something, but the archeologists weren't sure since they didn't have many evidence.

At the end of the tour we returned to our school, and I had made up my mind, I really wanted to get to know more about the talisman, so as I was taking out my phone to tell my friends I discovered something shiny in my bag, as I looked closer at it I realised this was the talisman, but how did it get her?

'No time to question yourself Lisa, if someone sees you they are going to think you stole it' I thought to myself.

I went running to my house building which I shared with my BFFs and decided to sleep on it, I said to myself "I can think about this tomorrow since it's Saturday and maybe things will go back to normal".

Then Lena entered the house with Jason and Phillip following behind, when she spotted you, she came running to you, she seemed very excited about something.

"What is it Lena?" I asked her.

"Oh well you know how we went to the museum and all right?" She said and I nodded. "Well I was very interested in the Talisman of Lacea, and I started doing some research on it and found an old legend about it. It said that when the Talisman is finally found it will search for a new owner, for this means monsters will start arriving, looking for it, wishing to control whoever is the bearer of it, they might abduct people to find who has it, and that a powerful and ancient evil will rise again hoping to get what was rightfully his but was stolen"

I stared at her in shock, how could this be? I mean this is just a legend right? "It's just a legend, I don't really care if that's real or not, it doesn't matter." I told her and went to our shared room to start on my homework.

1 hour later and I still wasn't done. This is very frustrating. Well at least I only had one more thing to do. After I finished my homework, I went to take a shower and then went to bed.

During the night I had a really weird dream, which I couldn't make sense of I was seeing something like witches and cats falling from the sky. Due to the weird dream, I woke at 1 am and when I looked outside my window, I must say that is not what I was expecting to see.

Outside it was raining, it looked like a thunderstorm, a very big and nasty thunderstorm, but then suddenly i heard a very big thump, at first I thought someone had fallen, maybe Lena fell from her bed, but when I looked back she was still sound asleep, so I looked outside again only to see a bunch of cats standing and sitting outside of my window, all staring at me, and some of them I don't know if they were falling from the roofs or literally the sky, but they're cats they always land on their feet or so they say. I couldn't believe what was happening and when I looked to the forest that was nearby our house I saw a giant now I don't know if it was really a giant or if was just a tree, but when I looked up to the sky I saw something whiz by and I heard a very creepy and strange laugh, almost like a witch's.

What is going on?
