We Fall, Again

As soon as we entered night fell, the sun disappearing behind the horizon.

As we were walking, Jason said, "Let's go deeper in, it looks like it might rain."

I nodded, I wanted to lay down I was so tired from dragging Jason all the way here. "Huh, what's that?" I said and bent down, forgetting I was holding Jason, and sent us both tumbling down.

I fell down and ended up on top of Jason, who was groaning from the fall, and I quickly scrambled if him.

"Are you alright?" I asked him with a timid and fearful smile.

"Yeah I think so. Could we maybe I don't know take a break or at least some rest? My foot is killing me, and you also look tired." Jason said with an agonized look in his face and trying to hide it with a pained smile.

"Ok okay maybe we should do that, but just in case there's a storm , let's find a room or chamber instead of staying in this hallway." I told him, heaved him up, and then started walking. Just from watching him limp I could tell his ankle was getting worse and that we needed to get out of here soon and fast.

Finally after what seem like an eternity of walking in this dull and boring hallway we saw an opening to the side. As we were walking I could no longer see the shining we saw earlier, maybe it was just the sun reflecting on something?

"Jason! Lena! Lisa! We're home!! Or well I'm home!" Phillip shouted entering the house just after leaving Lelin at her apartment.

Lena came rushing down the stairs. "Oh Phillip hey! Where are Jason and Lisa?" Lena asked walking over to Phillip.

"Wait you mean to tell me they are not here, that they haven't arrived!!" Phillip said starting to get worried.

"No I thought they were with you." Lena said confused.

Phillip started panicking. "No no no, this can't be I knew something was wrong I knew they wouldn't just leave us, well they could but then they would come back again."

"We could try calling them." Lena suggested holding up her phone.

"Yes great idea! I call Lisa you call Jason. No wait I call Jason you call Lisa." Phillip said embarrassed of himself. Just as he was going to dial Jason's phone he accidentally and unconsciously dialed Lelin's phone without looking. (I know what you're all thinking and yes she does have a phone, she bought from the Walmart in the forest ilovecatssooooomuch )

We entered a room and I sat Jason down against a wall. I looked around to see that where we were was actually a bedroom.

"Jason there appears to be some kind of bed here maybe you could lie down there?" I looked at him and he just stared at me. I think the pain and exhaustion was getting to him because I noticed him swaying a little and he had a confused face, he looked dizzy.

"Jason can you hear me? Are you all right?" What is going on? I tried to make my voice sound steady, but I'm freaking out in the inside.

"Yes Lisa I can hear you all right, but I can't see you." He said. Oh, he's fine, but he said he can't see me must be because is dark.

"Wait when you say you can't see me you mean because if the dark or you literally can't see anything?" I asked confused and concerned, for I lack the knowledge to know what to do if someone is looking like they might faint at any given moment.

"I literally can't see anything." He responded. Well I'm done for. "You have no idea what to do am I right?" I nodded. "Assuming, by your silence, since I can't see anything that you nodded." That's right I forgot. "I must say you really ought to learn at least how to help someone when they are in a similar situation. Well first thing first you said there was a bed and step number one is to lie down the person and then you have to raise their feet above their head to stop the dizziness and then just wait." He told me, and I did as I was told.

- The next morning... -

I woke up and I saw Jason next to me, he looks so cute when he sleeps, he's like a baby! I started squealing. Then he woke up and I jumped from the bed and then tripped falling down.

"Good morning to you too." He grumbled going to sit up, but then rethinking about it and laid down again.

"So it's already sunrise, so can we go now? Like, right now?" I said nervous and jittery. I was so desperate to get out of here, this place was starting to give me the creeps.

Jason nodded and with my help, he was able to stand up and leaned on me. We made it to the hallway and to the entrance. Just as we were heading out, we heard a shout and somebody scream something unintelligible.

Next thing I know is Jason is on the floor with Phillip on top of him, hugging him, and apparently crying. Lena and Lelin came rushing after Phillip and when they saw us they had a relieved look on their faces.

"Phillip! What are you doing get off of him!" Lelin shouted.

"Oh right yeah." Phillip said embarrassed and scratching his head. He got up and stood next to Lelin. Jason just decided to stay in the floor.

I helped Jason up. "Ow!" He said when he tried to put pressure on his foot. He looked like he was about to fall, so I put his arm around my shoulders.

"Phillip or Lelin could you help me? Jason fell down and twisted his ankle and I don't know if it's sprained or broken." I told all of them and they just stared at us, Phillip looked like he was about to cry again and had his mouth wide open.

Lelin was the first to react and came to help me. We were finally getting out of these woods.
