Today was going to be a very long day. Lelinskwi started explaining what the Talisman could do, but I wasn't understanding anything because she just kept rambling and at some point she started talking another language.

"Hey! Heeeey! Lelinskwi!" I yelled trying to get her attention.

"What?" She replied annoyed.

"I was wondering if you could slow down and we could go step by step or in my case it would be baby steps. First thing firsts: introduction. My name is Elizabeth but I prefer Lisa. What is your name?" I said and asked her.

"Uh ok my name is Lelinskwi but I prefer Lelin." She told me.

"Next step: what's your story?" I asked her and she was looking at me with a confused face. "I mean tell me who you were before, like have you always been in the Talisman or I don't know something like that, how about where were you grew up?"

"All right now I understand. First I was born in another land and time very different from this one, where people roamed the lands freely and there was peace. I lived in a little village called Fadilia and yes it is a strange name, but everything there was strange. Ok so this little village where I grew up was near the kingdom of Lacea hence the name the 'Talisman of Lacea'."

"Yes! We're making progress! Now what about what you did or about your family?"

"In my family there was my mama and papa and then we were eight daughters. I was he youngest of the eight. I liked to go hunting, so I'm good with a bow and almost every weapon. Knowing I had these skills I decided to become a knight for the royal family and I did; I became the captain of the royal guard."

"So you guarded the queen who carried the Talisman?"

"That is correct. It was a family heirloom passed through many generations that is why there were many rumors, myths, and legends about it."

"But how did it end all the way out here? In another distant remote land?"

"Well you see our squadron was named the Flight of Eagles because we were able to tame and ride some great magnificent giant eagles. One day the queen sent us to scout and explore a new territory very far away, and she was going to tag along. We prepared everything and then we arrived here. We were welcomed by the natives and they honored the queen so much they let us build a village of our own, of course with the Talisman of Lacea. Sadly many natives who practiced magic became jealous of the queen and opted to steal the Talisman and use it for their own greedy ambitious. The queen sensing this discomfort and great evil tasked me with getting the Talisman to safety, while she disappeared to make the natives think that she still had the Talisman."

"And then what happened? If I remember correctly when they found the Talisman they also found a skeleton."

"Yes. It appears the Talisman can only ever be wielded by its true rightful owner, but I was not so I got stuck in it only making it so far away from the village so they could not find it and was then buried underground waiting until someone worthy would find it again. I do not know what happened to the queen or the natives. Only that I am here right now, and I'm supposed to act as a guide for you. This is all I know, so maybe we can do something else?"

Phillip was strolling through the hallway and I had left my door open. "Lelin!" He screamed.

"Phillip? What are you doing here?" Lelin asked.

"Well I live here and I was wondering.... if you'd like to some day do something with me?" Phillip asked in a small shy voice.

"I would love to." Lelin answered with a blush in her face.
