Chapter 35

-[ Y/N's POV ]-
I was walking through the dorms alone just checking on patients and such, it was evening and most of the patients were out of their rooms and roaming around the institute.

"IL KILL YOU IF YOU DONT GET ME OUT OF HERE" I got startled by a huge bang and someone shouting at me while screaming their lungs out, it was one of the patients inside their dorms which were locked of course.

You see, the patients who act completely abnormal would never be allowed to roam free because of things that would happen... if you know what I mean
-clears throat-

I could see him staring back at me through the little square glass with iron bars on it, his eyes were red and you could see the capillaries surrounding the iris from the distance I was in. He really looked like a complete mental person..

Usually when I see patients like this I feel pity for them, the ones completely insane made me realise there are people like this in the world and somehow I felt like I've gotten more braver after working here, my heart became strong, I feel... confident!

I did become startled but I wasn't scared anymore, this wasn't the first time a patient shouted at me through the glass, in fact.. they shout at anyone who passes by, once they catch an eye of a figure they run towards the door.

Some also are tied up in case they do anything worse or become suicidal, sure almost half of the patients here are suicidal but luckily the guards are kept in watch in case anything ever happens.

As I walked further more I reached the big hall, looking around I saw people smiling and giving a slight nod. I was glad I got along with them, who the hell knows what will happen if I didn't.

I caught my eye on two people standing at the exact same spot I see them everyday at most of the time.

"Taehyung!" I waved at him as I made my way towards him and jungkook.
"Ahhh!!! Y/N!" He said to me back with a grin on his face.

I turned my head to jungkook and gave him a smile.

"Hi jungkook..."

"hello Y/N" he smiled back which brightened me inside.

"How are you guys?" I asked them both.

"We're both feeling fine! Just a normal day here, nothing new to tell." Tae said to me. Jungkook repeated the words Taehyung said in his head:

He guessed this was going to be considered his normal life from now on which made him suddenly feel down.

"Is something the matter?" I asked him in concern, his smile had faded away and he was looking at the ground. As he heard my words he shot up his head

"What? Um.. No no, nothing wrong I was just.. daydreaming..."

I nodded
"well okay then" the three of us continued to chat for a while, these two guys were the most I talked to and got along with, I know this is weird to say since I'm a nurse and they are my patients but I felt like they were my close best friends, oh how wonderful it would have been if they were out of this place and were part of my life outside this place, it felt like a dream..

But I'm sure they will be released some day right? They can't be here forever right? For Taehyung I know he will be released since he wasn't sick, he had to choose either prison or insitute, so he chose institute.

As for jungkook... I... actually I don't even properly know in detail what happened to him and how he got here. I know he had a hidden mental illness but I wonder how it was discovered just now after all these many years. I can't ask because I'm sure it would be a sensitive subject for him.

"After I came back to class I saw that he made a mess all over the floor and acted innocent! HAHAHAH" jungkook told me as he laughed at his story.

But while he was in the middle of talking, he got interrupted.

"Y/N" I heard someone as I felt tap on my shoulder, it was Suho.

"We need to talk" he said in a serious voice, I sighed.

"in a moment Suho, can't you see I'm talking to someone?"
He scoffed at me "oh come on, please?"

I decided to get whatever 'talk' over with "fine FINE. Guys.. I have to go now but I loved talking to you to both!" I said to jungkook and Taehyung. They understood me and thanked also for taking my time to talk to them.

I walked away from them to a quiet place knowing Suho would follow me behind. Before Suho did, he shot an eye at jungkook only to see him staring her as if he's in a deep trance.

He snapped his fingers on front of his face "HEY!"

He leaned closer to jungkook's ear and gave an evil smile "Don't get too overly attatched to her, she is your nurse after all." He warned jungkook almost as if it was a threat.
