(A/N: Raph^^^^ pic above)
Raph has never been a morning person. If you have an annoying little brother, you would know why.
"Dad says you have to get up," Mikey jumped on Raph's bed, it was 7:30 in the morning.
He groaned, moving his pillow over his head, "go away Mikey."
"But dad says-"
"I don't care what-"
"Raphael."
Raph sat up, glancing up at the door way where his father stood, Mikey sat on the end of his bed now.
"Yes father?"
"It's time for a little morning training," he had his hands folded in front of him.
"On a Saturday?"
"A little extra training never hurts anyone, plus there is a terminate coming up."
"We're always prepared, father, I don't understand why we need to do extra."
"You all are well prepared because of the extra training, now get dressed and meet your brothers and sister down stairs for breakfast," Yoshi ended the conversation and headed for the stairs.
"You just got told off," Mikey laughed, making Raph shove him off the bed.
"Ow."
"Oh did that hurt?" Raph rolled his eyes, heading for the closet.
"Well yeah-"
"Good, now get out."
"Someone's cranky," Mikey stood up and dusted himself off.
"Get out before I punch you."
"No violence boys, take it to the dojo," their mother says as she passes their room with a laundry basket in hand.
"Yeah Raph take it to the dojo," Mikey mocked from the door, getting a shoe thrown at him, which Mikey dodged and needed up hitting Miwa's door with a loud bang.
The door flew open seconds later with a very angry sister, her hair was tied up in a messy bun, dressed in a thick stripped loose tank top and gym shorts.
"What the hell?" She picked up the shoe ready to beat someone with it.
"I didn't do it," Mikey threw his arms up in defense, blocking his face and darting down the stairs.
"RAPH!" Miwa yelled, only to have the door slam in her face, "open the fricken door!"
"No, you're going to hurt me," he yelled back, stripping to his boxers to change into his training gear.
"Leave him alone Miwa, you can beat him in the dojo," Donnie stated heading for the steps after coming out of the bathroom. And that she did. During sparring, Donnie sparred Leo, April (whom showed up after breakfast) sparred Mikey, and Miwa sparred Raph. Leo, April, and Miwa won, so the 3 of them sparred while Donnie, Mikey and Raph sparred.
Unlike the other days of training Master Yoshi worked with them individually.
They all had to come up with a fighting technique to show off and use at the terminate coming up.
They went on like this for another hour, Yoshi helping each and every one, giving tips and telling them what the judges were looking for.
By 11:30 they were dismissed. The three 14 year olds and 15 year old walked through the city, skateboards in hand, laughing and chatting. Luke joined the trio, that included Mikey, Jason and Madelyn, for a day just consisting of hanging out. They just left the skate park, leaving Mikey's brothers behind along with his sister and Jason's sister.
Luke left that morning from the ratty old apartment with his mom gone again, thinking she actually went to work, he didn't give it a second thought.
"Where are we going anyways?" Madelyn asks.
"We could stop by my house, drop off our stuff and get money to get some food," Jason suggested, getting a trio of nods and 'yeah's.
They made it within a good 20 minutes. They stopped at the end of the drive way, "come on," Jason waved them on.
"Yeah come on Mikey," Madelyn grabbed his hand.
She practically dragged him up the steps to enter Jason's front door, Luke trailed behind.
"You can set your stuff in my room," Jason said, gesturing them to follow him.
When you walked in, it was a huge foyer, Mikey's house was big, but not this big. And Mikey had 4 siblings, Jason only had 2, but then again Madelyn was a only child and her house was probably the same size as this, if not bigger.
To the right of the foyer was the huge living room, to the left was the dinning room and sitting area, past the stairs (which were across from the door) and below the balcony was the entry way to the kitchen, you could tell because of the fridge you saw in front of the door way.
Their house was 2-stories, everyone had their own room. To the left was their parents room and across from the stairway was Jasmine's room, she never was home, the only thing on her door was foam letters spelling her name. Next door to her room was Jaelyn's room the door was decorated with stickers of basketballs, and bands, and a calendar hanged under her name plastered on the door. The 3rd door was the bathroom, which was wide open. Then at the end of the hall was Jason's room, which is where they headed.
The tv down stairs was on, no one seemed to give it a second glance besides Mikey.
Madelyn's hand stayed intertwined with Mikey's, that was okay with him, he liked holding hands and hugs, pretty much any type of human affectionate interaction.
"You can just throw your stuff anywhere," Jason told them when they entered his humongous room.
He had a full size bed positioned in the corner, a big dresser and walk in closet (that was open), a window seat next to the bed, a desk and his own tv, and still enough room for at least 10 people to sit on the floor.
"Your room is cool dude," Luke commented looking around in awe.
"Thanks, it's alright," Jason said, rubbing the back of his neck and glancing in between Mikey and Madelyn, whom were still holding hands, "I'm going to go find some money for us, Madelyn could you help me?"
"Sure why not," she shrugged.
"Uh, I'm going to wait outside," Mikey said, pulling his hand out of Madelyn's, "Luke?"
"Yeah I'm coming."
