Rolling over Mikey's eyes crack open, the sun barely came in through their closed white (sorta clear) curtains. Raph's bed was a mess and he was gone, so was the make shift bed by Raph's where Casey slept. Sitting up he grabs his phone off the night stand by his bed, scrolling through pointless Instagram and twitter notifications.
Eventually he jumps out of bed after hearing his brothers and sister argue down stairs, he runs a hand through his hair and stops by the bathroom before heading downstairs where he smelt the bacon and eggs, the only simple American breakfast his mother could make besides pancakes.
"Morning my sweet," his mother welcomed Mikey as he came down the stairs, there was already a line to get a plate of food.
"Bacon?" She lifted the plate.
"Yes please," he pushed in between Leo and Donnie who stood a good 5'5 (Donnie) and 5'10 (Leo) over him, climbing on the chair next to his sister.
(And in case you guys are wondering out of pure curiosity she's 5'11, she got her tallness from Yoshi)
"We spar tomorrow my children, don't go to sleep late," their dad said taking a sip of his tea, eyeing Mikey and Raph, who was already heading to the living room with Casey.
Mikey nodded stuffing his face with a couple of pieces of bacon, Raph didn't give a second glance.
"Okay Raphael?"
"Yes sir," he answered sitting on the couch.
"Why don't you ever tell Donnie, or Leo or Miwa," Mikey objected.
"Because they get up on time."
"But you don't know if they go to sleep on time," Mikey said like he just solved a murder.
"That doesn't matter Mikey, as long as we are up and awake." Miwa said.
"Something you never are," Donnie rolled his eyes making the girls laugh.
"I am too," Mikey argued.
"Name once when one of us didn't have to drag you out of bed," Leo challenged him, Ember leaned back against him, she was the same height as Mikey if not an inch taller. Her hair was pulled up in a messy bun, a crop top and pj shorts on. All the girls slept in Miwa's room, which was a rule in their house.
"Uhhh-"
"You can't think of one knuckle head," Raph smacked him on the back of the head, not hard but enough to cause his head to move forward, he punched Raph on the shoulder for payback, earning another shove. This made Mikey retreat backing up into Miwa.
"Raph knock it off."
"Yeah Raph knock it off," Mikey mocked making Raph glare at him.
"Shut up Mikey," Raph said.
"You shut up," he moved off the stool towards their mother before Raph could hit him again.
"My sons, that's enough."
Raphael rolled his eyes and headed back to the living room after bringing their plates in.

A hour after breakfast, Mikey laid in Leo and Donnie's room along with Miwa, April, and Ember. His head dangled upside down hanging off the bed, his feet plopped up on the wall as he listened to his older siblings and friends talk about school and extracurricular activities.
"I think you should join football Leo, you would be good at it," April suggested, picking up the conversation.
"Eh I think soccer is just my thing, not football."
"Yeah, and we'll become that stereotypical couple, and there will for sure be rumors," Ember said playing with Leo's hand, and rubbing his arm, Leo's arm stretched across her shoulders.
Everyone sat on the ground except for Mikey and Donnie who laid/sat on his bed.
"Like there isn't rumors now," Miwa said.
"Wait is there?" Ember looked at her.
"Well not any serious ones, just how you guys have fucked before-"
"Woah Miwa tmi, tmi," Leo cut her off.
Donnie's hands flew to Mikey's ears by pure instinct.
"I'm not 6 Donnie," Mikey pushed Donnie's hands away.
"Sorry but-"
"You're too young to talk about sex," Miwa told him.
"I'm 14."
"You haven't even had health yet," Donnie pointed out.
"You haven't even had health yet," Mikey said rolling back doing a little flip off the bed, then tumbled to a sitting position facing Leo.
"But Donnie's mature." (Leo)
"I'm mature," Mikey said offended, pointing to himself, getting a high raised eyebrow from Miwa, April and his brothers. Ember just looked like she was holding back laughter, "okay maybe I'm not that mature."
"Uh huh." Miwa nodded in agreement.
"What's going on in here, and can we join," Casey popped his head in.
"Sure, why not? Join the party," April ushered.
So they did. Raph plopped down on the bed next to Donnie while Casey sat next to Mikey.
"What are we talking about?" (Raph)
"Rumors," Mikey replied.
"Oooo fill me in on the juicy gossip," Casey rubbed his hands together like a evil villain in a movie.
"It's not really anything-"
"Actually did you guys hear about Karai," April cut Ember off.
"Totally cause I knew who that is," Mikey said sarcastically, earning a hit from Raph to shut up, then Raph earning a hit from Donnie to stop hitting Mikey (The usual domino effect).
"Well," April continued ignoring Mikey, "she's dating Slash."
"Ah they are such a perfect match." (Raph)
"Wait is Karai Leo's ex from 8th grade?" (Mikey)
"Yes." (April)
"Ohhh." (Mikey)
"So when did they hook up?" Casey questioned.
"When did you have an ex," Ember looked up at Leo who started blushing.
"Can he not have any girlfriends besides you?" Mikey asks jokingly.
"Mikey," Miwa snapped at him.
"I'm kidding!"
"Just keep your mouth shut for once Mike," Leo said annoyingly, like Mikey hasn't been sitting their quietly the whole time.
"I didn't mean it like that Mikey," Ember said not offended at all, "you know that too, right babe?"
"I know," Leo's voice softened.
Mikey rolled his eyes at the scene leaning back against the bed, and listened the rest of the time. Keeping his mouth shut.
