thirteen;
"Passed once again!" Hanna exclaimed as she threw her test paper on Changkyun's table in the library. The paper revealed an 'A' trapped in a circle with a red ink. Changkyun looked up at her and clapped his hands, the tip of his lips curling up.
Their party soon ended when they realized that people were starting to look at them while some even told them to quieten down. Sitting back down in their seats, they chuckled at how ridiculous they must have looked. Their smiles couldn't be stopped as they did their work individually.
An hour and a half later, Changkyun was halfway through his Physics mock paper when a Tic-Tac-Toe board was drawn on the top right corner of his paper. He looked up to see Hanna drawing an 'X' in the middle tile of the board. She giggled as she told him it was his turn.
He groaned, "our exams officially start next week, Hanna. Can we do this later on?" Hanna pouted, whispering to herself, "party pooper."
Changkyun beamed to himself after hearing Hanna's comment about him. He mentally promised himself to apologize to her later for not being able to play along.
Few minutes after a full-time concentration, eight blank spaces were drawn on the top right corner of Changkyun's paper, once again. Once he looked up, Hanna took his paper and wrote on top of the blank spaces, 'Monsta X member'.
"Let's play hangman!" Her eyes were twinkling while her white teeth looked as if it was shining.
The boy in front of her forced his paper back to him. He erased the doodles as he sighed. Hanna felt upset, but it's not as if she could blame him for wanting to do well in the examinations. Thinking she was a nuisance to him, she stopped playing around and started to focus on her own paper.
Twelve minutes later, Hanna huffed as she was about to say something but Changkyun glared at her before she could do or say anything. She pouted, "fine, we'll play tomorrow then."
He looked at her with confusion as she continued on with her paper. All he ever thought about was, 'didn't her father tell her it will be the last day today?'

"So, I have this friend who needs advice, but I can't help him because I suck." Changkyun started as they were walking towards where they usually eat dinner when they end late. Hanna chuckled.
"Do you mind," the innocent boy turned to his tutee, "if you help me?"
"How can I help?" Hanna smiled. Changkyun opened the door to the place and let Hanna in before entering as well.
They went to an empty seat and sat before the older continued with his story. "Basically, he likes a girl, and he's close to her. However, he doesn't dare to confess for he fears rejection."
Hanna rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue. Changkyun looked up, puzzled. A few silent seconds passed by. "What advice should I tell him to do?"
"I don't get you guys who fear rejection! Is rejection more important than the girl?" Hanna exclaimed. Changkyun nodded, understanding her frustration. "What I'm saying is, you never know if you never try."
"So, why don't you ask your friend to text the girl right now, telling her to meet him. Then, immediately confess... but with sincerity, of course." She smiled, imagining how it would end.
"Why don't we order food first?"
Hanna nodded which caused Changkyun to heave a sigh of relief.
-
"Text him now!" Hanna delighted while chewing on her burger. Changkyun looked up. "Don't talk when your mouth is full!"
