sixteen;
"Junhong-ah," Hanna looked up from his chest to his face. She slowly put down the phone from her ear while still on the call.
Simultaneously, they questioned each other, "what are you doing here?"
They laughed. She answered first. "I've got a call, remember?"
"Is it that private? It's not even that loud outside. And, it's cold out here."
Hanna shrugged. "I wouldn't say it's private. How about you?"
"I went to find you." He stated as if it's the most normal thing to say. "I mean, I figured you've been gone for too long."
"Ah, it's alright. You should go back in." She nudged him back to the hall. The boy only nodded and followed her order, though still suspicious as to why she wanted him to go in without her. "You should go in after a while too, it's cold outside."
Once Junhong was out of her view, she stuck her phone against her ear. "What are you doing here?"
"To see you." It was merely three words yet you could hear and imagine Changkyun's smirk through the receiver.
"Are you in your right mind?" Hanna burst. She was fangirling inside but she had to keep that to herself, Changkyun didn't need to know that. "You should go home and rest. It's been a long day for you."
"Hey, I just wanna dance and you're kicking me out? I haven't even stepped into the event hall," he retorted, sounding upset.
She clicked her tongue as an indication that she was getting impatient but the both of them knew she wasn't serious. In fact, she liked that he came.
"I'm gonna dance with you, okay? Wait for me."
"You won't be able to convince me," she stuck out her tongue though she knew he wouldn't be able to see it. "I'm hanging out, bye."
"Wait—," before he could say anything else, she hung up.

"Excuse me Mr. and Mrs. Jeong, but is it possible for me to take Hanna out for a dance?" Changkyun formally and respectfully asked Hanna's parents. Having met the teenage boy and thus, was familiar with him, Jeong Joon accepted his request. Jimin only smiled and nodded beside her husband.
The teenager then turned to Hanna and jokingly asked for her permission, "may I?"
She squinted her eyes and chuckled, "Sure, I mean, like I have a choice when my parents allowed you."
He smiled as if he won an argument. The two moved on to the dance floor, briefly walking past Junhong who was walking back to the table from the food section.
"Where are you going?" he asked out of curiosity.
The couple momentarily stopped walking to answer his question. "I'm taking her to dance."
The young lady placed her palms together. "I'm sorry, but this will only take a few minutes, okay?" Junhong nodded in understanding and continued walking to his designated seat.
As soon as they stepped into the dance floor, Changkyun's hands automatically placed themselves on the younger's waist, as if they were magnetically attracted to it. Hanna linked her arms on his nape.
"Great strategy to get me to dance with you." She smiled.
"I always try my best," he smirked, looking complacent after what he did.
"I can tell," she chuckled, then immediately changed the topic, "hey, where did you get the outfit from?"
"I forgot," he smiled, looking at Hanna in a dress, "I had this since young and I'm honestly surprised I could still fit into them."
He shrugged. "Have I told you that you look beautiful tonight?"
She blushed and hid her face from him by leaning on his chest. She then shook her head as a response then looked up at him with a serious face, "you can't suddenly say that out of nowhere!"
"Why not?" he giggled. "Because I make you feel flattered and you won't know how to deal with it?"
She rolled her eyes, "if you know the reason then why ask?"
As they swayed to the beat, their hearts were throbbing of happiness and contentment for each other, because they're aware of each other's feelings and that alone is enough.

"Why did you ask to be dropped off at the junction just a few meters away from my house?" Hanna questioned as her arms swayed from left to right, her purse being held by her right hand. Changkyun was beside her, to her left. They were walking back together to her house as he insisted on taking her home.
"I wanted to walk you home," Changkyun sheepishly smiled, trying to avoid her gaze. This, thankfully for Hanna, failed Changkyun to see her obvious blush. The natural kind.
"For what?" Hanna shrugged.
Changing the topic, Changkyun asked, "hey, have I told you that you looked beautiful tonight?"
Hitting his right arm, Hanna laughed out loud. "Stop saying that!"
The teenage boy pretended to be clueless and looked around, "what did I say?"
"A good joke," Hanna shook her head smiling, "a very funny one."
"I wasn't joking," Changkyun made her look at him. "Have I told you that you looked beautiful tonight?"
"Oh my gosh," she exclaimed, "Stop!"
The two chuckled. She asked him back, almost mockingly, "Have I told you that you're very good at joking around?"
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not joking!" they stopped walking as soon as they've reached Hanna's porch.
Hanna chuckled at the boy's frustration. "Okay, so if you're not joking, then am I only beautiful tonight and not the other days?"
Startled by the question, he stopped for a while to think of how he was going to answer the question. Hanna scoffed, "okay, then! If that's what you think."
Jokingly, she was about to go inside her house when Changkyun stopped her by holding onto her arm. "I'll remind you every day that you're beautiful, alright?"
Hanna snickered, "you're funny."
"Anyway, I'll see you in school, alright? Good night, Changkyun."
"Yeah, see you. Good night."
