Torrie walked with me to her house and she was quiet the whole way there. She was thinking and I wanted to know what she was thinking because it really was bothering me. Sometimes she could think for hours without saying what she wanted to say. I guess a lot was running through her mind and she had the right. She recently been offered a movie role and will be leaving for a few weeks and maybe a few months.

“Can you tell me what you’re thinking Torrie?” I asked.

“I don’t know if I can go that long without you,” she said to me.

“I think you have to do the movie. I can’t hold back your career,” I replied and she faked a smile.

“My career has made my life miserable,” she said quietly.

“I want you to do what you must to have a stable lifestyle. I want you to be the star that you are.”

She then laughed, “Even if I do this movie, it won’t make me any more richer and it won’t make me be like the Hollywood actors.”

“I wouldn’t ask you to be like them. I wouldn’t want you to be like them,” I said to her.

“Really Pony?” She asked and she had tears in her eyes.

“Really.”

“I love you,” she said.

“I love you more.”

“I know you do.”

“So tell me about the movie,” I said.

“Well, it’s about a princess being stuck in a tower and she wants to be free. Then one day, her knight in shining armor comes to her and lets her out. They then travel to get her back to her kingdom but is stopped by her rival Prince James. James almost kills them but the princess gives herself up to the Prince and then on the night they are meant to be married, the knight in shining armor saves her and her kingdom and the movie ends with a kiss,” She replied.

I took it all in, “I so hate that a guy gets to kiss you.”

“Me too but it’s life for me,” she said.

“Promise me you won’t run away with the guy,” I said to her.

“You know I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t leave you for the world,” she replied and her eyes glowed.

“I know but I really like when you say it.”

She smiled, “I promise that I will never leave you.”

“When does this movie begin recording?” I asked her with a smile on my face.

“In two days so I’ll be leaving tonight,” she answered.

“That doesn’t give us much time to hang out,” I said as my smile faded from my face.

“We have plenty of time and plus I can makes us some nachos or something fantastic to go with some movies,” she suggested.

“You know what? I think that’s a great idea!”

“Really?” She asked me.

“Yes,” I replied.

“You always have great ideas, it is really strange yet great,” I said. We finally arrived at her house and her dad was there.

“Hi,” Torrie’s dad said to me.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Ponyboy Curtis,” I said and he shook my hand.

“I’m glad to know my daughter is in good hands,” Torrie’s dad said to me.
