“Torrie!” I yelled.

“Yes Pony?” She asked.

“I think me washing your clothes is not going to be a very smart idea,” I said.

She laughed at this, “Well Pony, it’s just clothes. Pretend that we are married and they are our clothes.”

“I don’t act or sing, it is hard pretending,” I replied and I ran a hand through my hair.

She touched my face, “Pony, you are so silly, but you are smart as well. You do not have to wash my clothes if you do not want to.”

I kissed her gently, “I will wash them just because it is your clothes.”

“Pony, do you wonder what it would be like to be married?” She asked me out of nowhere.

I started the wash, “Actually…I do.”

“I was thinking we should get married out here so that Zack will lay off of me and because I love you,” she said.

“Are you sure? I need my brothers to be here if we do,” I replied.

“I will call them and let them know we are having the wedding tomorrow,” she said.

“Tomorrow?” I asked.

“It is early but I want to start my life with you already, after this movie my life will not be the same. I want to begin my life with someone I love,” she explained.

“How about this weekend?” I asked.

She looked at me, “That will be fine. I guess we do need to find some cute wedding outfits.”

“I need to get you a ring,” I said as I thought about it. The ring has to be as lovely as Torrie was.

“I will get myself the rings that we need, listen to me Pony; I will not let you spend money on me. I want to shower you with my love and my money. I want to buy you things you never had, please let me handle everything,” she begged.

“Can I choose some of the people to come?” I asked.

“It is not just my wedding, it is yours too,” she replied.

I scratched my head, “Fine, but do not try to be too fancy.”

She smiled, “You know I won’t.”

I found Ember and Two-Bit walking together and holding hands. They looked like any couple except for the fact you knew Two-Bit was a greaser at first sight. I couldn’t wait to tell them that I, Ponyboy Curtis will be getting married. Ember had blonde in her hair now; she always changed her look somehow. Ember was trying to heal on after Johnny, and she’s doing a pretty good job.

Torrie finally showed up twenty-minutes later with wedding details, “Oh and Pony, your brothers are coming!”

“You’re getting married?” Two-Bit asked.

“Yes,” I said.

Ember smiled, “Good for you.”

“Torrie wanted me to marry her and I couldn’t decline my soul mate. No way in hell was I going to let any other man get her. I love her and she is mine,” I said as I looked at Torrie. She was blushing.

“You both are invited if you of course wish to come,” she replied.

“I might as well go. I have nothing better to do with my life,” Two-Bit said.

Ember then looked at me, “Don’t hurt her or let her go ever. If you do I’ll kick some Pony ass.”

I shivered, “You know I would never leave her. She is going to be happy with me.”
