Out of the entire room, you could see a small little flame lighting up the entire room. Its flashing through the candle holder. It has wings made out of flames, flapping slightly as if it was trying to get out.
A woman, long blonde hair that was tied up into a pile of hair on her head, a messy bun. She was wearing circular glasses, metal ones. Her outfit consisted of a scientist coat. Her skin was light and pale.
"I'm telling you, it has to be the last of its kind!"the woman cheered to someone over the phone. The one black plane phone she held under her chin. "I'm not lying! Come and see it for yourself!"the lady suggested. The only thing that the flame could hear from the other person was muffles.
"You're going to make me big bucks,"the woman said with a smirk as she looked at the small flame. You could see the fear in her eyes, the flame's. Even though she was covered in red and orange, you could still see the terror in her eyes, her lonely empty eyes.
A few hours had passed as the young flame struggled to get to the top of the candle holder. She wanted out, she'd been wanting out. She hasn't seen the sun in months. The only light she could ever see was her own flames.
A man walked into the room. He had opened the door and let the dark sky in. No sun, again.
"There it is,"the lady scientist had said as she welcomed the brown haired boy in, his bright blue eyes lighting up from the bird's flames. The flower stayed still except for its flames moving through the air, the ash. "Its real,"the boy said as he placed a hand on the glass of the candle holder. "Yeah,"the woman replied, slowly with a smile. "Do you want it?"she asked. "I want to see what it can do," the boy explained. "Well I um,"the woman started. "You've taken it out before, right?"asked the boy as he turned to face the woman. "No, its a phoenix, it'll burn my home, my lab,"the woman replied. "Well then let it out now,"the boy requested. "Unless you don't want me to buy it,"he added, threateningly. "Fine then,"the woman said as she went away to get a match.
After a few minutes later, the woman came back with a match. She put her hand in the glass cage and swooped up the little flame, being careful not to burn herself.
She lifted the flame out of the glass cage and showed the boy the bird. Immediately the bird jumped off of the match nod glided down to the floor. "Its getting away!"the woman yelled. "You fool woman! You never keep a phoenix caged!"the boy yelled back as they both began to chase the bird.
The bird ran across the floor, she had so much hope burning inside of her. She would soon have the freedom, she's always wanted. Freedom would actually exist in he rife for once.
She flapped her fire wings as fast as she could to get to the door. "Stop!"they yelled as they ran. The bird gained enough energy to fly. She flew Hugh u to their roof. She headed straight for the door. The boy then ran to the door and blacked it. The young phoenix bird stopped at the boy, her wings flapping to stay up in the air.
"Great job!"the woman yelled. The bird almost had her freedom she was so close, she had so much hope. "It isn't right to keep a bird caged," he told the woman as he stared into the bird's fiery red eyes. "Well the thing would of burned this place down,"she said.
The bird stared at the boy. "You can cage the bird but you can never cage their hope,"the boy whispered to the bird. The phoenix swore she saw flames in the boys eyes, flames like her. The bird looked at him curiously. He turned to the door, he put his hand on the door handle. He opened it, he opened the door to her freedom.
"Be free, always be free,"he told the bird as she flew fast out of the door. The bird was smiling, she was free. All of a sudden she saw a phoenix flying behind her. She looked at his eyes, the same eyes as the boy had. She looked to find the boy but he was gone. He was the phoenix. She wasn't alone.
