After a few minutes of flying, the two birds made it deep in the woods, where no building existed. They decided to rest on a log, well the boy did. He transformed back into his self, his flames leaving his body. The girl was still a phoenix she didn't know how to do what the boy did.

"I'll teach you,"the boy said suddenly. The bird was flapping her wings to stay in the air. She looked curiously at the boy. "Just listen,"he replied. "Now just think of being human, walking, running, things like that,"he told her. The bird nodded and did as he said.

She began thinking of the human she saw back in the cabin, the one who captured her when she was born. The bird got scared as she thought of the human and the glass cage that the poor bird was once in. She began flapping her wings, furiously.

"Calm down, your safe here, no one's going to take you now, I promise you'll never be caged again,"he assured the young phoenix.

The phoenix nodded and calmed down. As she did, she sat on the grassy ground. Her flames surround her. A big fire forming around her. It soon disappeared and only ashes were left, they floated through the woods around her. She looked down at herself. She saw no feathers except for the ones that formed a dress am her, to cover herself up. She looked at her hands, no claws on them or her feet and no wings. She looked entirely human.

"I am-"she started to say. "Well you just look like one,"the boy finished for her. The girl looked back up at the boy as she pushed her fiery red hair that had light orange and yellow tips out of her face.

"Thank you so much,"she said as she quickly wrapped her yarns around him, consuming him into a hug. He smiled down at her as he hugged back. "I just don't like seeing beautiful creatures like your such self, caged up,"he told her. "Thank you,"she repeated. "Your welcome,"he said. "Do you know your name?"he asked the young girl. "Adara, its all u known of myself,"she replied with a frown. "Its okay, we all don't really know much about ourselves." he told her. "What's your name?"she asked him. "Ash,"he told her.

"How is this possible?"she asked as she looked down at her new form. "We're phoenixes, we were made to rise from ashes and be born anew, we've learned how to live as others to keep our cycles of life going,"he explained. The girl nodded. "What are we supposed to do now?"she asked. "We'll live like the humans do, we can't hide from them, its no use,"Ash replied. "They've captured me before, they can do it again,"Adara said. Ashe out a hand on her shoulder. "No they won't, I promised you that I will never get anyone lay a hand on you,"he told her with a serious face. Adara nodded. "Now way we can get faster to the nearest place, we'll need to fly there, think of flying,"he told her. She nodded again as Ash put his hand down.

Fire began to rise up from their feet. Their feet turned to feathers made of fire, their whole body did. Their arms turned into wings as their lips made their beak. Ash screeched to tell her to follow him. Adara nodded and flapped her wings, they both did to stay in the air.

Ash flew through the trees, perfectly dodging them. At first Adara struggled to keep up since it was her first time in a while from flying. She soon got the hang of it. Ash screeched again, signalling that they were close to a town. Adara nodded and continued to follow. They lit up the night sky together. They looked like a huge fire in the woods.

Ash soon glided backed own to the ground and transformed back into his human form. Adara did the same. "We're here,"Ash told her as they walked out if the woods and onto a road. "Just follow me,"he added. Adara nodded and follow shim on the side of the road. They walked what seemed like hours to Adara but only was one hour. They arrived to a busy town but a small one. "You're probably real hungry,"Ash said to Adara. She nodded quickly. "Don't worry, we'll go straight to a diner and don't worry, I'll pay."Ash told her as they walked on the sidewalk.

They soon spotted a diner and walked in. Luckily for them they didn't close till midnight and it was only eight o' clock. "What can I get you two love birds?"the lady at the counter asked as she saw the two walk in. "A coffee for me and,"Ask looked at Adara. "It doesn't matter to me,"she replied. "Hamburger and coffee for you then,"the lady at the counter said. Ash nodded.

The two phoenixes disguised as humans stay in a booth, both of them in front of each other. They waited a few minutes of silence and the woman that was at the counter came walking over to them with a tray. She east down their two coffees and then Adara's hamburger.

Adara looked at the hamburger, confused as Ash sipped his coffee. "Its called a hamburger, its delicious, it has bread, meat, and cheese,"he said with a smile. Adara picked it up with her hands and placed part of it in her mouth and bit down on it. She ate half of it, furiously. She had been starving for months. All she ate was pieces of bread which is never enough. She finished the hamburger, furiously.

"In so sorry for what happened to you, no one deserves that,"Ash said, suddenly. Adara nodded with a frown. "I went through that before, until someone rescued me,"he told her. "Who?"she asked curiously. "A man who was friends with the person who captured me until he found me,"Ash explained.
