Adara fluttered her eyes open. At first all she could see is completely white. She heard ringing in her ear. "Ash?"Adara asked silently but she still couldn't really feel anything. Adara blinked her eyes a few times and then things came back into focus like changing lenses in a camera.
"Ash?"Adara continued to ask. All she saw was a glass wall in front of her. But the glass was blurry so she couldn't see a thing. She then used her hands to pull herself up. As soon as she sat up, pain shot her in the head. "Ugh!"she groaned as she out he hand on her head.
The pain soon faded away she was able to stand up by using the wall to prop herself up. "Ash!?"she was able to speak louder now. She then rushed to the glass and pressed her hands against it. "No! No! No!"Adara yelled as she slowly backed up. "It can't be happening again!?"she yelled.
Adara then began hearing people talk outside of the white blurry wall. "Who's there!?"she yelled the question through the wall. Suddenly the wall came up and it startled Adara so she run back up against the other wall. Adara first guarded her face by blocking it with her arms but she then slowly set them down to look at the people.
There were two men in front of her. They same ones that Ash attacked a few days ago. Except for one guy was hearing an eye patch. "Your little other birdie buddy did this to me,"the man had caught Adara staring at his eye. "Too bad, you'll be paying for his actions,"the man smirked as the other man grabbed Adara's wrist. "No! Let go of me!"Adara yelled at the man as she pulled her arm away. "Looks like we'll have more trouble with you then we thought,"the man with the eye patch said. He then took out a gun from his picket but at the tip it had a sharp pointed object sticking out. A needle.
"What is that!?"Adara asked, furiously. "Something that will knock you out,"the man replied as the other man grabbed her arm and the eye patched man went over to Adara shot the needle into her neck. The world began to get blurry again. "That's what I was shot with last time,"Adara thought as her eyes closed and the darkness came again.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! I am about to show you, the flame above other animals in the deep forests, the fire that always burns!"Adara heard a voice shout in front of her. Adara blinked to get the world back into focus. Things began to get clear again, quickly.
She looked down at herself and below her she saw straw like the kind you see in nests in trees. "What?"Adara asked herself. She then turned around and saw bars. Adara began breathing hard again. She got up and walked across the straw and touched the metal bars. They were cold. She reached her hand through them and felt some kind of cloth. "This can't be what I think it is,"Adara told herself as her heat started beating fast. She could now hear her own heartbeat.
"The last of its kind, here now for you all to see!"she heard the manly voice yell from the outside. Adara turned to where she heard the voice. She walked over to the other side and clutched the bars.
Suddenly the big cloth was lifted up. As soon as it was Adara heard flashes and people gasping. Adara's heart kept getting faster and faster. She felt like it was about to burst. She saw regular men and women. Bright lights were flashed in her face. Adara covered her face with her arms again.
"What were these people doing?" Adara asked herself. All the bright lights were blinding her and was hurting her eyes. "Ash! Ash!"Adara yelled for Ash. People began to whisper about what she was saying. Some people thought it was her language. "Ash! Ash! Ash! Ash!"Adara kept on repeating his name. Her heart kept on beating fast. Flames then surrounded Adara as she turned into a phoenix again. She file up into the air and people gasped with amazement as if Adara was trying to entertain them. Adara screeched at the people, loudly. They all began covering their ears to not hear the Hugh pitched sound. Adara was scared, worried, sad, and angry all at once. She screeched louder at the people.
Suddenly Adara's phoenix form began to grow. Her wings expanded and the talons on her feet got longer. Her beak got sharper and longer. Her eyes looked like fire. Her entire form kept on getting bigger. She could now barely fit in the cage.
Adara screeched one more time and all the people were suddenly pushed back. People ran for their lives. The metal bars flew off the cage. Adara screeched again and the entire cage cane crashing down. Adara then flew out of the cage and pass the people. They all ducked for her to pass through. After that everyone was too scared to chase the bird.
She flew right through the building leaving behind a huge hole with fire surrounding it. Adara screeched out into the night sky for Ash. She flew back into the woods to see if they brought him there. As she got deeper into the woods, she got more worried. Tears began to fall from her fiery red eyes. They hit the flames on her body and it stung a little but she ignored it and flew fast while cutting trees down with her long wings by accident. She spotted the cabin in flew straight into it, causing the place to immediately burn down. She noticed it burning she transformed back into her human form.
"Ash! Are you here!? Ash!"Adara yelled throughout the burning cabin. She ran down to the basement and stepped through the hole she made earlier. All of the lab that was down there was gone, it was all broken from Adara's voice. Adara got worried so she transformed back into a phoenix and headed back to the place that she was in the cage. This time she was in the regular version of a phoenix. As she left the entire cabin was burnt to ashes.
