"Adara, Adara,"Ash repeated her name while shaking her head a little to wake her. She turned around in his arms and covered her face. "No!Stop!"Adara yelled in her sleep, twisting and turning in Ash's arms.
Dream:
"Strap her down!"a man in a lab coat yelled. His hair was lightly grey. Wrinkles covered his face. He was a little thin but not bony. Two men, the same ones that attacked Adara yesterday, were grabbing her hands and pushing her back on the cold metal table. "Stop!"Adara yelled as tears rolled down her face. Even though phoenixes' tears are supposed to heal people, it couldn't heel the sadness she had inside her.
"I told you, you can't run away from me,"the woman who had captured Adara, was smiling as she spoke to Adara. Adara kept crying, she couldn't stop herself.
Present:
"Adara! Wake up! Everything's okay! In here for you!"Ash shouted to Adara as he began to shake her more to wake her from the horrible dream. She jerked her head up and begun to breathe heavily.
Adara was actually crying, tears flowed down from her eyes that were new fiery red like a fire. Ash quickly wrapped his arms around her. "Its okay, I'm here, no one can hurt you, it was only a dream, that wasn't real,"Ash assured her. Adara hugged him back and looked up at him with tears still streaming down her face. "T-the w-woman,"Adara uttered. "I already got rid of her, she can't hurt you,"Ash said. "No she's still alive, she can cage me again,"Adara said with tears. "No! She won't, I'll never let that happen,"Ash said. Adara just stayed in his arms.
"Come on, flying will help you calm down, it seems to,"Ash said as he helped Adara up. Ash held Adara's hand and yelled"Now!" They both jumped off of the branch. They spiraled into phoenixes.
They rose up into the trees, flames following them. They screeched to the clouds and sun. They flee all the way to the river, dodging trees. Adara started a race with Ash to the river. She looked behind at Ash and laughed that he was behind. Ash was actually letting her win, at first, but he decided to have some fun too and sped up. He ended up beak to beak with Ash. They both smiled at each other.
They both began to furiously flap their wings to keep up speed. Adara soon arrived to the river before As did but she stopped at the sight. The sun was perfectly reflecting onto the river, shinning through it to shine on the fish. Adara stayed there, flapping her wings to stay up. Ash had been so focused on beating Adara that he tried to stop but he was going to fast. He ended up falling into the water. He ended up lighting the river up. His flames sparkled in the water.
Adara laughed at him and then swooped down into the water right on top of Ash. They both laughed as the flapped their wings to float to the surface. The both transformed back into their human forms. They both laughed at each other.
Adara had her arms wrapped around Ash's neck from the back. She then swooped her legs around his waist. Ash shook his head, furiously to get the water off. Adara kept a firm grip in his shoulders so she wouldn't fall off.
"You made me fall into the river,"Ash told Adara. "Yeah, sorry about that, I was looking at the sun's reflection, I haven't seen it in a while,"Adara replied as she looked back up at the sun. Ash nodded and said"It is quite the sight." "No kidding,"Adara said. "Thanks, so really thanks, if it weren't for you, I would of been trapped in that cabin or killed humans, I would of done so much bad if it weren't for you so thank you,"Adara said. "Its what I do,"Ash said in return. "Stop being so modest!"Adara chuckled and pushed Ash into the water.
Ash swam under the water with Adara on his back. Ash swam back up to the surface and went over to the land. With Adara still on his back, he walked back onto land. Adara jumped off his back. Ash then took his shirt off to rinse the water out of it. He then shook his hair like a dog and got water all over Adara. She just laughed tried to cover her face from the water.
"Ash!"she yelled while laughing. He put his hand through his hair and hanged his shirt on a branch to dry. He then looked at Adara. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to,"he told her, chuckling. "Its fine, anyway, I'm already soaked wet,"she told him while laughing. "We both are,"Ash said in return with a chuckle. Adara then jumped on his backs and laughed. Ash laughed with her. "What are you doing?"he asked. She rested her chin on his shoulder. "Having fun,"she said with a smile.
Ash ran to the river and dived in with Adar on his back still. They swam around off a few minutes, sometimes underwater and other times on the surface.
"How are we supposed to walk into town, soaked?"Adar asked as she rested on the grass with Ash by her side. "Lets get a little more dry, and then fly into town, but of course we have to try to stay hidden so no tricks,"Ash told Adara. Adara nodded and just laid down in the grass to get the sun shine on her and to dry.
