I just noticed Yumiko doesn't really have any friends. Not now that she had to leave everything behind. Must be horrible for her, I can't let that be! I'll present my friends to her and take her to Ichiraku's everyday! I can even ask Granny Tsunade to take Yumiko on missions with me.
Actually, I will do that right now, believe it!

"Hey, Yumiko? Are you there?" I have to admit I was kind of nervous when I knocked on her door. She had used one of the empty rooms as her bedroom, so we didn't have to sleep in the same room anymore.
"Ugh, yes." She said, calm as always.
I opened the door and she was reading. Yumiko had such a foreign beauty, I wanted to understand.
"Would you like to meet my friends?" I asked naturally, she lifted her eyes up from the book and smiled. Her expression immediately lit up, as if she was waiting for that offer.
"Yes! I would love to!" She closed the book and put it down by her bed. My eyes shone as she paced closer to me. "Who do you want me to meet?"
I didn't know what to answer, I didn't think about it.
"Ugh, maybe one of the girls? Hinata and Ino are out on a mission so maybe... Sakura?"
"Sakura? Who is Sakura? That is such a pretty name..." She asked, whispering to herself the last bit, I thought it was adorable.
"Oh, ugh... You have probably seen her by, we should invite her to something."
"Wait, Sakura, the girl with pink hair? I knew that name was familiar, I saw her in the morning with two other boys." Yumiko pointed out.
"Really? So you're friends?" Did Yumiko already know Sakura, than she does already have friends.
"Oh, no, no. I heard someone call her, that's why I know her name. And also, you left the kitchen window open, that's why I heard it." That made me blush, okay, I did forget to shut the window. "Anyway, where is her house? We should invite her to eat at Ichiraku's with us."
"Ichiraku's? It would be awesome! But I don't have money..." I really was wishing to have some spare yen left, but last time I looked my frog pouch was empty. That sucked, I really wanted to take Yumiko to eat some ramen!
"No, please don't worry, I have money." I would never let her pay, who would I be? Never, a real gentleman would never let her pay!
"No, it's okay! We could go to the park!" I suggested, dodging from the money topic.

We were both walking under that hot sun, towards Sakura's house. It was so boring until suddenly I felt Yumiko's hand hold mine. I think she did it subconsciously. I flushed, I didn't know if I just went on and held her hand back or not. But I did, her soft fingers intertwined with mine and when I noticed, Sakura was in front of us.
"Ugh, Sakura! Hi!" I shouted out, her presence was so sudden.
"Oi, Naruto... Who is this?" She said so kindly and calmly it couldn't be Sakura.
"This is Yumiko, my housemate." I scratched my head as I said her name.
"Oi, Yumiko! I'm Sakura, nice to meet you!" It surely wasn't Sakura, or was she nicer to other people? I couldn't know.
"H-hi, Sakura." Yumiko's voice was frail and low, could she be shy? Not the Yumiko I know, she was always positive and happy; Read books, which was quite boring, but was awesome anyway.
