What She Lacked {Naruto X OC}

I couldn't wait to see Yumiko again. Her soft brown hair and shiny eyes just made me miss her. I haven't gotten a sight of her in about a week, or even two! I'm not good with time...

Rushing through Konoha, I could feel it's vibe again. The people, my friends... And Yumiko.

"Y-Yumi-chan?" I called out, she had locked the door to our house and I just didn't want to burst in through the window.

As soon as my voice played off, her presence tensed up and ran towards the door with all her energy. I guess she missed me too...

"Naruto! Brother! I missed you so much!" Yumiko's arms wrapped over my arms and around my body. She hugged me so tightly I strugg
But wait, 'brother'? Did she just call me her brother? No, she must've tripped over her words. I'm not her brother, I'm her friend, her housemate. Right? Not brother, if I were her brother we wouldn't be able to- I'm not her brother!

She noticed me lost in though as she loosened her grip.

"N-Naruto? Are you okay?" She asked me. Her back pushed the door open and gave me space to pass by. I did as I answered her still a bit disappointed with what she called me.

"I'm great, don't worry about me. I just want to know about you." I slid onto the couch with my closed-eye smile, and she sitted neatly next to me. Yumiko was always so polite, it was cute.

"About me?" She blushed. "Nothing, really. How was your mission?" She rose up in a second, and headed towards the kitchen. I looked at her over my shoulder, and saw she grab a box of meat cup noodles. I smiled instantly.

She opened it gently with her fingers and got two hachi, separating them apart. When Yumiko looked back at me, a small smile appeared on her pale face.

"Thought you might be hungry?" The ramen was placed slowly over the kitchen table, the two hachi beside it.

I just loved when Yumiko gave me food without being asked to do it.
