I wake up in the morning and quickly climb out of bed being careful not to wake Josh. I make way into Ian's room and check on him. I check his temperature and notice that he has a mild fever which I take as a good sign that the wolf's bane is doing what I wanted it to do. Ian wakes up as I check his pulse.

"Morning, Kayla," Ian says sounding tired.

"I'm sorry for waking you." I tell him apologetically. "I was just checking on you."

"Its fine," He tells me his voice sounding croaky. "I have to tell you that you have a dress fitting today. So does Josh."

"I'll leave you to have a rest. Don't over exert yourself today," I tell him in a stern voice.

I quickly leave the room and make sure to leave the door ajar.  I go back to my room and find that Josh is up and getting ready. I carefully pick out an outfit and get ready to go to my dress fitting.

"Josh," I say as he goes into the bathroom.

"Yeah," he replies standing in the doorway.

"We both have a fitting today," I tell him with a smile.

He gives a quick nod and starts to go back into the bathroom, when he stops and turns back around. "How is Ian today?"

"The Wolf's bane seems to be working like it should but I'm still going to monitor the side effects carefully," I tell him.

I sit on the bed and wait for Josh while he finishes getting ready. After a couple of minutes there is a knock at the door. I carefully answer and she that it is Matt with another Guardian.

"Hello, Princess," Matt says with a small bow of the head. "This is Guardian Tim. We'll be escort you and Josh to your fittings today."

"Come in. Josh is nearly ready," I say stepping aside for them to enter the room.

I sit back down on the bed and check up on the list of side effects in the book from the library. When Josh comes back in Matt quietly leads us out of the room.

"Josh, your fitting is in the spare room down the right hall," Matt says after we leave the living room through the double doors leading to the hallway.

We separate and Matt leads me down the left hallway while Tim leads Josh down the right hall. We quickly and quietly make our way down the hall until we come upon a door that is slightly ajar. Matt knocks and Kate answers the door. She quickly leads me into the room and shows me to the lounge.

"Take a seat. I'll be back in a minute with the dress," Kate says going through a door to the right.

I sit down and wait. After a couple of seconds Kate comes back with a very large dress bag. She hangs the bag and carefully unzips it. When she pulls the dress out of the bag I am speechless. It is everything I wanted. It is a mermaid style dress fitted to the hips were it flares out with a ruffle skirt. It has a sweetheart halter neck and is a nice silver colour. I instantly fall in love with the dress.

"Come into the other room and we'll try it on," Kate says carefully grabbing the dress and leading me into the other room.

Kate closes the door behind us and helps me into the dress. Once it's on Kate carefully zips it up and we step out of the room to see that Steven has joined Matt in the other room.

"Hey, Kayla," Steven says when we exit the room. When he gets a proper look at me his jaw drops. "That looks really nice on you Kayla."

Kate grabs a full length mirror from next to the door and stands it so that I can see myself in the dress. I stand there stunned at how beautiful the dress looks on me. "It looks amazing," I tell Kate after a couple of seconds of stunned silence. After Kate checks that everything fits properly she leads me back to the other room and helps me get out of the dress. Once I've finished getting changed Matt leads Steven and I back to the royal protection suite.

"So, Kayla, are you okay?" Steven asks me as we step into the living room of the suite.

"I'm okay," I tell him. "I need to check on Ian. Will you come with me?"

Steven nods as I carefully open the door toIan's room. When I go inside it is like a bombshell has hit the room and thefirst thing I notice is the smell of meat.
