Dedicated to Maureen
She came into our lives, unaware of how she would help us.
She was there through the ups and downs.
She prayed for us, her prayers answered...and we grew close.
Our time was short together...way to short.
Not only did she learn from us, but we learned from her.
Not only did we inspire us...but we did the same in return.
Her love, compassion, understanding and devotion made her great.
Things I should have told her but now it's too late.
We will never forget you or what you brought into our lives,
I will never forget the love and kindness and everything else you did for my son.
I will never forget what you have done for me.
We will in some way shape or form, always have that bond.
A bond that nothing can break except ourselves.
I will always care for you, and you will always have a place in my heart
I am sorry to see that we had to part.
I understand why, even if I don't like it.
I admire you for what you do for the other kids out there.
Kids that no one else wants or cares about.
We need more people like you in this world.

My poetry
PoesíaI write from my heart and from life experiences. I have a disabled son who was not expected to make it. Some are about him, some about a abusive situation I was in, some just love.
