Now with everything pretty much behind us we were able to finally enjoy our senior year. I continued seeing a therapist to work through everything I had been through. I never realize that anyone could suffer from PSTD especially having suffered a traumatic experience. Dane put me through hell and back all because his birth mother is a whack job and hated mine.

Brandon turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. He saved my life when I needed it just by being a friend. We still have our ups and downs but that happens with any couple. Like the other night, we argued over which chick flick we were going to watch. Yes, my troublemaker, bad boy loves chick flicks.

We were arguing over whether we were watching Mean Girls or White Chicks when dad opened the door catching me on Brandon's lap reaching for the remote. He stood there clearing his throat.

Mid-reach I said, "Hey dad."

"Am I interrupting something?"

"No just fighting over what movie we're watching," I said getting up and tapping Brandon for taking the remote.

"Ow."

"What's up dad?"

"Both of you meet me down in the living room," he said leaving. We looked at each other, shrugging and I tossed the remote on the bed.

We came downstairs to find all our parents and friends in the living room.

"What's going on?" I asked taking a seat on the couch next to Austin and Brandon sat down next to me. Austin shrugged as did the rest of our friends.

"We called all of you over because us, parents got together and decided to rent a place for a week in Hawaii."

We all looked at each other, then back at my dad. He rolled his eyes, "For spring break. We're all going to Hawaii for a week!"

That's when we got excited and us, girls were screaming making the guys cringed. After we calmed down and dad got the ringing out of his ear he explained that it has seven bedrooms total. One for each parent couple and one for the girls and one for the boys. I didn't care because we were going to Hawaii.

We had to get up really early to catch our flight. I think my parents love wrecking my sleep. At the airport, I was leaning on Brandon's back sleeping. Austin laughed at his expression.

Then Brandon carried me onto the flight earning strange looks for the flight attendants. Ah, the perks of having a girlfriend that loves her sleep. After a pretty long flight, we landed in Honolulu and I was finally awake.

After riding in a taxi for another hour we arrived at the house dad and the other parents rented. The house was quite spacious and gorgeous with us all finding our rooms and settling in. We were also right on the beach which was a bonus.

After settling in I opened the patio door and walked out onto the beach. Feeling the sand between my toes was always my favorite part of the beach. I walked to the shoreline and let the waves crash upon my feet, kicking up water and laughing.

"It's great to see her smiling again," Austin said.

"Yeah, it is. I was afraid when she broke and had to go into the hospital that we were never going to get her back," my dad added.

"She's stronger than she looks. She went to hell and back and survived. She deserves this," added Brandon as the three men in my life looked on while watching me laugh.

"Brandon comes on! It's so much fun," I yelled laughing.

"You're being beckoned," Austin grinned.
