Ever get woken up to annoying sound when you just want to sleep? That would be my stupid alarm clock. I threw a pillow at it, knocking it off the dresser. I think it might be broken. I don't care at least it stopped. My mom knocked on my door, opening it, "Another one Allie?"
"Mom I can't help it, they make the most annoying sound in the world," I groaned.
"Well, time to get up before you're late."
"Fine," I groaned.
I got up and dressed reluctantly. I wish I could be more excited about school but it was just not happening, not today at least.
I came downstairs and grabbed some breakfast giving both my parents a kiss. Brandon waltzed in grabbing a couple of pieces of bacon. He was dressed in a pair of black jeans and a black tee shirt showing off all his tattoos on his arms and neck.
"Ready wonder twins?"
We both nodded getting up from the table.
"Thanks for the bacon Jake," he yelled walking out the door.
"I swear we have three kids sometimes," dad mumbled. Mom shrugged.

We pulled into the parking lot and got out. Megan caught up with Austin and he wrapped his arm around her neck giving her a kiss. We headed into school or better yet, hell for me.We picked up our schedules and locker numbers from the front office and found out we were all in the same vicinity of each other. We compared our schedules and Austin and I had three classes together while I had two with Brandon and the other one with Greg, Sasha, and Megan. Well, at least I'll have someone to talk to.
When I got to the third period which happens to be English I sat down next to Brandon.
I leaned over, "Hey I wanted to ask you something?"
"What's that?"
"Are you going to the costume ball?"
"Wasn't planning on it?"
"Why not?"
"It's not my thing."
"Oh."
I don't know why I felt a slight sense of disappointment when he said no. Probably because my best friend wasn't going to be there when the rest of us were going to be.
I didn't bother to mention it anymore. At least I was going to meet my secret admirer that night so that was a plus.
I looked at Brandon and he looked utterly bored sitting there then my eyes started wandering down his face to his neck to his arms. I never realize how tight his shirt was on him. Okay, I need to snap out of it. This was my best friend, nothing more, nothing less.
After a fourth period, we all sat in the courtyard having lunch when Greg came out of breath.
"Guys."
"Damn dude, we don't start tryouts till next week," Austin remarked.
He caught his breath, "No," he said shaking his head. "We have a bigger problem."
We all looked at each other and followed him to the boy's bathroom. Austin and Brandon went in and saw all the writing. The names all over the walls in black marker. I went in pushing past everyone and they tried to stop me until I fought my way through and saw it.
I looked at all the names, prude, a tease, virgin, frigid, and so on. I stood there and dropped my books to the ground. A few people were laughing and I whipped around, "You think this is funny?! Do you?!"
