"I don't want any trouble," I quickly said to her.

"State your name, location of camp if you have one, and approximate number of walkers killed," the girl said sternly.

I had no clue how many walkers I have killed since this started. "Carl Grimes. We are temporarily living in a house one street over and I have killed many walkers, but I don't know how many. I'd say at least over a hundred." I hope that satisfied her.

"You said we. Who else is with you?" She had no expression on her face.

I didn't admit it, but I was a little scared of her. "I'm with my dad and one of our close friends from our camp."

She tilted her head and put the gun in her holster. She pushed me to the side and climbed up the ladder and sat at the top of the bed. She looked me directly in the eye. "Is it weird that I knew your name was Carl?" she asked.

"A little. Does your name happen to be Ava?" I asked.

Her eyes lit up. "Why do you know my name?"

I didn't know how to tell her. I just had to tell her everything. "I've seen you in two of my dreams."

She seemed a little confused. "Were we sitting on park swings in one of them?"

I was shocked she knew that. "Yes, and we were talking about our previous camps."

"And at the end, I shot the walker." It's like she really in the dream. "When did you have the dream?" She asked.

"Like two days ago," I replied.

"Same! This is getting really freaky!" Ava seemed really shocked.

"Who are you talking to?" a voice said. A head popped up behind Ava's. The girl had red hair in two braids and tons of freckles. She had a green tank top and a no sleeved dark gray vest. She had beige skinny jeans and dark blue polka dot sneakers.

"Is your name Mia?" I asked the girl.

"Yes." She suddenly became quiet.

"You were both in my other dream. It was at my local high school. I'd be going there this year if this didn't happen, I think." Mia still seemed very surprised that I knew her name.

"It was the first day of school. We were in the classroom when walkers came in. You led everyone in how to kill them." Once again, she knew everything.

"When we had killed them all," I paused. How do I say we started to, possibly, fall in love. "I picked you up. And put you on the desk."

Ava smiled and giggled." Yeah, and we looked into each other's eyes. But then,"

I cut her off. "We don't need to say that. Let's not ruin the moment."

Everyone became silent. "You said in the dream that you were with your best friend. Were is she?" I hope that she wasn't dead.

"She's on a supply run, looking through the houses in the neighborhood." She looked outside. "She's tough. She's kill anything that's a threat."

"Wait, you said she is in the neighborhood?" I asked frantically.

"Yeah." Ava seemed confused.

"Exactly how tough is she?" I asked.

"Very. Why?" I think she was very confused.

"What would she do to my dad?" I was worried.

Ava suddenly jumped off the bed. "I don't know but I wouldn't take any chances."

"Wait Ava! Where are you going?" Mia yelled.

"Just stay there," Ava yelled back to her. "The gun is still where I left it. Only use it if you need to. Carl close the door behind you. Mia, stay there." I closed the door and followed Ava.
