"Guys! We have been arguing for the last 15 minutes! We are getting no where!" Ava yelled at us.

"She's right." I quickly jumped up to defend her.

"Well, Abraham's saying we need to go to D.C. every five seconds isn't helping things," Gracie sassed back.

"But we do! Eugene may have the cure," Abraham replied.

Ava let out a loud sigh. "Well, if he would actually tell us what he thinks caused it then maybe we would go."

Eugene looked directly at her. "It's highly classified. A girl of your intellectual ability wouldn't be able to comprehend such an important matter."

Ava gave him a fake smile. "Oh, so you think we are all stupid. You probably think we're all gonna die, don't you?"

"I never said that," Eugene replied. "But I probably will live longer than you."

Ava rolled up her sleeves. "Okay, let me at him!"

I quickly grabbed her from behind and pulled her back. "We don't beat up people Ava, only the walkers."

Michonne stood up and stomped her foot into the floor. "This is enough! There's only one rational way of doing this. Everyone needs to say their most important reason to either leave or stay. Which ever has the most, we do. If we choose to leave, we decide where later."

Rick nodded. "Sounds reasonable. Who will go first?"

Ava raised her hand. "I want to find the safest place for Mia."

Mia looked up at her and gave her a smile. "I do whatever Gracie and Ava do."

Mia then looked over at Gracie and motioned her to speak. "I want to find Emma."

Gracie looked at me, and I looked at my dad. "I think Judith is still alive, and I'm going to find her." I felt Ava's hand grab mine. She squeezed it tightly.

Rick sighed. "Maybe the others are still out there."

Tara quickly stood up. "I will try to do anything to help you find your group. I truly will."

"Well that settles it,'' Michonne said. "Majority rule."

Abraham shot up off of the couch. "What about us?"

"Majority rule," Ava said trying to sound intelligent.

Gracie laughed, "And we know you want to get to D.C. So I figure you want to leave."

Eugene pulled him back to the couch. "You can't really argue with them. It is a very simple majority ruling. You don't need a very high intelligence level to figure that out."

Ava leaned over to me. "At least he's not making fun of me now."

Eugene turned and looked at her. "I wasn't just talking about him. He probably has more intelligence than you. Plus, he's trained with weapons."

Ava sat up and bit her lip. She closed her eyes tightly and lifted up her middle finger at Eugene. "I know how to use weapons. My dad was in the military and taught me a lot of what he knew."

"So. You weren't actually there," Eugene replied.

Ava gave him an angry look. "If we need to sacrifice someone for the walkers, I'm volunteering you."

Gracie walked over and slapped Ava on the head. "Stop it! If we are traveling together, you two need to get along and not despise each other."

Ava slapped her back. "Then get him not to insult me."

"Just shut the frig up!" Mia yelled. "You sound like little kids. You are a fifteen year-old girl and a grown man! It's worse than with Kyle!" She then got up and stormed upstairs.

Everything became silent.
