YOONRA

"You don't have to give those to him right? He won't care about that anyway," I mumbled to myself.

My eyes landed on the dustbin, full of stuffs that I tossed in. They were all for Jungkook but ended up being in the dustbin in my room.

The scene of Eunji and Jungkook playing video games together while having cups of ramen had lingered in my mind. The scene reveberated many times although I tried not to recall anything about them. Eunji smiled happily while tickling the grinning Jungkook when he won the game against her. And Jungkook playfully did that back to her as well.  I swore i never see him being like that before.

Yeah, right, they are childhood friends. They are meant to be together.

But it hurts.

It's pointless that I'm treating him nice and tame. He never notice nor appreciate for it. I began questioning myself about these.

I stood up, kicking the dustbin to release my anger towards him before leaving my room. Suddenly I paused and moved backwards...

"....." I breathed in and out, " food is innocent, it's too cruel to waste them."

I pouted, picking all of them and placed on my desk, planning to eat them for tea break.

I slid on the coral socks and put on the sports shoe before jogging around the neighbourhood.

It was early morning and the sun just rose happily from its bed, poking its head through the blue window of heaven. Its yellow laughter spilling over the earth gently.

I gave a wide smile to myself and decided to wash away the sulkiness. If you feel depressed or sad, just run as fast as you can because that's a way to release stress.

After a few minutes of long run, I felt better and my breathe was more stable. I slowed down my pace and walked back home.

Suddenly my phone rang and I had to put a pause on everything. I fished out my phone and took a look on the screen. It was Jungkook.

Without thinking further, I picked up the phone, "hello?"

"Yoonra? Are you free later?" He asked.

Realising I didn't respond anything, he continued, "would you like to have a dinner together?"

My heart was thumping and butterflies were all over my stomach. I gulped and tried to be steady.

"Y-Yeah, I'm free later," I gulped again after finishing my sentence.

"I will send you the address of the restaurant later. See you later," he hung up the phone with a beep sound.

I thought I will never be as close as I used to with Jungkook since Eunji replaced my previous job. Little did anyone know I was so tempted to meet him, stay by his side or doing silly stuffs with him.

I pursed my lips, still couldn't believe that he is asking me out. My incisors bit my tongue and it felt pain, showing that everything was indeed real.

Finding myself smelling funny, I entered my house and rushed to the bathroom.

I looked myself infront of the mirror. Pale pink with a bit or purple enhancing the dress and really brought the elegance out. Trailing my eyes down and saw one pair of black high-heeled shoes, contrasting with my skin tone. I took the thin hairband and tied up my hair into a messy bun.
