~Prominence
"Alicia, wake up," a voice called annoyingly.
I groaned and shoved my pilow over my ears and rolled over, "Go away."
"Not until you wake up."
I managed to open my eyes and make out the figure that was standing in front of my bed, "Go away, Liam," I mumbled groggily. His brown side bangs drooped across his face, covering part of his green eyes.
"Alicia, I'm going to get my water and dump it on you, if you don't get your ass out of bed," he hissed. He wouldn't. Liam's a wimp, then again he did dump water on me last week, but I did get revenge for that..
"What time is it?" I asked angrily. I swear, sometimes this boy has no sense when it comes to time. He woke me up at 1 am last week just to look at some project he was working on. Like I said, no sense in time.
"It's already ten, and if you want to get to the beach anytime today -,"
That did it; I shot out of bed, "Why didn't you wake me up sooner?" I grabbed a loose, baby blue T-shirt and light-washed shorts while pointing toward bedroom door, "Out."
"Yes, your highness," he muttered. He stood in his spot, debating whether to leave or not.
"What was that?" I hissed.
"I'll be outside with the rest of the guys," he answered as he shut the door quietly behind me.
I quickly changed and walked into the bathroom. As soon as I passed the mirror, I stopped in my tracks and stared, horrified at my reflection. My dirty blond hair looked like a rats' nest; it drooped over my hazel eyes and clumps of hair standing out from one end to the other. This had to be fixed, immediately. Grabbing my hair brush, I started to untangle my hair, piece by piece. As soon as it was untangled, I bent over and pulled it up into a high ponytail. What are you going to do about your face? I asked myself, but then quickly applying foundation and mascara, not the best thing to do, but I was in a rush. I added on some deoderant and perfume, finishing up with one more glance to the mirror and grabbing my bag and house keys. I slid on my flip flops, dropped my pink bikini in my bag, along with my towel and ran out the door toward the guys.
"What took you so long?" Cameron questioned. His brown eyes hid his humour.
"Well I'm sorry it takes so long to look this good," I teased, pulling him into a large hug.
"Why does he get the first hug?" Zayn whined, "I thought you loved me!"
I shook my head, "You five year old," I pulled into a hug, "Let's go, it's already getting hot," I complained. I was already sweating, the sun was shinning, seeming like it was already at it's hottest.
"Let's go," Jacob chorused.
