Crap, crap crap, why didn't I ever take swimming classes? I struggled against the waves, you're such a stubborn girl. My feet felt for the bottom of the ocean floor, and after seconds of feeling around, I felt something solid. I kicked off of it, trying to break through the surface. I came up coughing and looked around for the shore. Through the crashing waves and the salt in my eyes, I spotted it. I began to swim toward it, but the waves pulled me back. Suddenly, strong arms wrapped around me and pulled me back toward the shore. I was laid down carefully on the sand. The arms left my body.
My vision blurred, dark spots surrounded my vision. I could barely make out the words being said to me.
"Alicia, can you hear me?" A familiar voice asked.
I opened my mouth to say yes, but nothing came out. Yes, I can hear you, no I can't speak. It seemed like my voice was not apart of my body. My eyes felt heavy, just for a minute, just close them for a minute, Alicia. I closed my eyes, and let my dreams take over.

I squinted, looking up at the blue sky, the first thing I saw were clouds, clouds shaped like elephants on bicycles. There was one that was shaped like a crab, and one like a bunny with an ice cream cone. I thought back on when I had fallen asleep, then as the memories came back, I shot up.
"What happened?" I asked frantically. Liam dropped his book and stared at me. Vanessa looked startled as well as Zayn and Cameron.
Liam sighed and dropped his stare to his lap, "You're awake," he mumbled.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What happened?" I repeated.
"You, well," Zayn hesitated with a bite of his lip, though continued after a few seconds, "Liam threw you into the ocean and well, um, you know, you aren't the best swimmer. . ." he trailed off. I wasn't the best swimmer, I admit that, but not being able to pull myself to shore? Was I that bad?
Vanessa stiffled a laugh, and Liam shot her a glare. "Sorry," she said, unable to mask her laugh.
I questioned her laugh, "What's so funny?" She pointed to my top, and broke out laughing, I instantly looked down at my shirt. It was soaked. Completely. My black bra was showing through the thin fabric of the dark floral shirt, and it clung to my skin tightly.
I scowled, "That's not that funny." I huffed and stood up off of my towel, wiping the sand off of my shorts. Liam had stood up and walked over to me. Again, he stared at the ground as if it were the most interesting ground in the world.
"Listen, Alicia, I-" I cut him off.
"It's fine," I didn't need any apologies. If it were me, I probably would've done the same thing. He opened his mouth again, surprised by my interruption, but I shook my head.
"I'm serious, it's fine. But just know, I will get revenge."
A smile grew on his face, "Bring it on."

It was official. Liam was drunk. There was no doubt about it. His arm was drapped over my shoulder, and he was explaining to me how Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob could live underwater.
"Well, you see, she's a fairy," he slurred his words as he spoke.
I nodded sympathetically, "Yes Liam, that's definitely how she lives underwater."
