***Hey loves <3 Hope you like this chapter! How's the story so far?

A week had passed since Demetri and Ambrosia's reunion. So far, the couple had gotten past any issue that had plagued them. Demetri hadn't let the fact the two were both inhuman bother him, and neither had Ambrosia. For Demetri's sake, she had been trying to overcome her insecurities little by little. Callum had also gotten past the fact the two were dating. He didn't care if Demetri came upstairs, considering other things were on his mind.

"Hey, teardrop?" Demetri called from behind Rose.

Wrapped in his arms, Ambrosia leaned against his chest, watching the credits roll by on her favorite movie. She had no clue why Demetri called her teardrop, but she couldn't help but smile knowing she had a nickname unique to only them.

"Yes, Robin Hood?" Ambrosia replied, giggling helplessly. Her bed creaked as she gazed up at his dazzling eyes, twinkling down at her.

"What would you like to do?" he asked, pecking Rose on the lips.

"I don't care as long as you're with me," Ambrosia smiled.

"How about we do this?" Demetri asked, smirking as he inched closer. Rose could clearly see where this was headed, but played coy anyways. Demetri gently took hold of Ambrosia's chin and turned her head to face him. His eyes searched Rose's for any refusal before he leaned in. Ambrosia obliged quite happily as Demetri kissed her lightly.

"We can definitely do that," she breathed out in a daze.

"I thought you might like that," Demetri chuckled. Rose laughed, denying nothing.

Nearly every day after school, Demetri stopped by her house and spent time with Ambrosia like this. They didn't have to be doing anything extravagant. Just being by his side, even if they're only watching movies, was enough for Rose.

Thankfully, Ambrosia still hadn't met Demetri's parents. She was actually quite afraid to, but since Demetri had never mentioned anything, she was unsure if Demetri wanted her to meet them in the first place. Respecting Rose's wishes, Catalina had avoided the subject also.

"What are you thinking about?" Demetri wondered, watching Ambrosia. She must have been daydreaming for a while.

"Something," she stuttered.

"What?" Demetri questioned once more. Rose gulped nervously.

"I'm too nervous to say."

"Come on Rose, tell me," Demetri pled. Ambrosia gazed into his emerald eyes.

"Why do your eyes do that?" she questioned absentmindedly. As Demetri raised an eye, Ambrosia realized she had muttered it aloud.

"Do what?"

"Change color?" Demetri sighed.

"Of course you would notice that."

"Why do they do that?" Rose repeated.

"My feelings... They do that because of my feelings," Demetri hesitantly admitted, watching Rose nervously. "When my feelings change, so does my eye color. How deep the color goes depends on how far my feelings reach," Demetri clarified, seeing her confusion. Rose nodded understandingly.

"What does green mean?"

"It means I'm curious."

"And blue?" Ambrosia asked, intrigued.

"I would rather not say," Demetri breathed out.

"Please? If I could change my eye color, they would be green now," Rose pled, staring up into Demetri's gaze.
