As Ambrosia opened the front door, Demetri gave his parents a disappointed look. Like the gentleman he was, he let her walk out first before following closely behind and slamming their door. At the sound of the door opening again, they froze, turning around to see Catalina.

"Ambrosia, I'm sorry about my parents. I wish for our friendship to continue, so I want to help you. You can stay with me in my room. My parents can't kick you out of there." Catalina motioned for Rose to follow her.

"Cat, are you sure? I don't want to get you in trouble. We could always go to a hotel or something," Demetri groaned, stroking the nape of his neck. It was apparent he did not want to get his little sister involved, despite she was only a few minutes younger.

Frowning, Catalina grieved, "I want to, Dee. I feel bad I haven't hung out with Ambrosia. I want to make it up to her. I know I haven't acted like it lately, but I am her friend. I would feel horrible if she were to get hurt because I didn't do anything." Demetri sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before nodding his agreement. Ambrosia followed Catalina inside, deciding this was her best means of survival. Mr. and Mrs. Vega gasped at the sight of her, not expecting to see her back so soon. Ambrosia silently followed Catalina past them towards the stairs.

"Where do you think you're going Catalina?" Persephone warned.

"I'm showing Ambrosia to my bedroom. She will be staying with me until there is no need to." Catalina began walking up their stairs, seemingly through with her parents.

"Hold it, young lady!" Alejandro demanded. Ambrosia froze, fearing her friend's safety. Groaning, Catalina spun around.

"Yes?"

"Who told you she could stay here?" Persephone insisted.

"I did. I'm not going to let her go back out there where she can get wounded or worse. She will be staying with me in my room. If you have a problem, keep it to yourself because I honestly don't care," Catalina instructed as she began walking up her stairs. A few stairs up, she noticed Rose was not following her. "Aren't you coming, Ambrosia?" Rose bit her lip.

"I don't know. I don't want you to get in trouble with your parents. Like Demetri said, I can stay in a hotel. I don't want to get hurt or harmed, but if keeping myself safe means getting you in trouble, I wouldn't mind," she explained.

"It's okay, Ambrosia. I can't let you get hurt, even if it means me getting in trouble. I'll just have to suffer through it. Now, come on. My parents will just have to deal with my decision."

Ambrosia wondered whether she should go. She wanted her parents to like her, but if she went upstairs, this would put her far back from it. Rose glanced over at Demetri, who appeared to be also contemplating their options. Noticing Rose looking to him for input, he shrugged indecisively. Ambrosia clenched her hands and nodded, dragging her feet after Catalina as she started up the stairs.

Catalina led Ambrosia down a hallway. After a few turns, she reached a room with a large maple door at the end. Opening the door revealed a beautiful black and white room with quotes of love and peace scattered around the room.

Ambrosia held her breath as she gazed around the room haunting her every dream. She always wanted a bedroom like this to pull her from the darkness within, but Catalina had one. She couldn't possibly have a room with this appearance now. Like when a friend dates a guy one likes, they can't go and date him after. One must move on to someone different.

"Will you be okay sleeping in here?" Catalina questioned timidly, snapping Ambrosia out of her trance.

"Yeah, this looks- your room looks-" At a loss for words, Ambrosia glanced once more around the room.
