***Just so you know, I still haven't come up with a title for this chapter either, but here it is! Hope you like it!***
"How come you never told me you had a brother?" Catalina asked quizzically as they drove down one of the many neighborhood streets. Ambrosia glanced nervously at her. She didn't like her friends keeping secrets from her, so she did her best to remain truthful with them. However, some things were best left alone.
"Because we recently got into a fight, and I've been extremely mad at him. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I just don't want to remember him while I'm with you," Ambrosia admitted honestly.
"Awe, okay." Ambrosia watched as Catalina anxiously gripped the steering wheel tighter, wondering what it was Catalina wanted to say. After a minute, Catalina finally confessed, "He's kind of cute."
"I could tell you liked him," Rose chuckled, teasing.
Mortified, Catalina stammered, "Am I that obvious?"
"A little, but I know you like the back of my hand. So, it's okay. Besides, I know he likes you, too." Catalina grinned excitedly.
"You really think so?"
"Why else would he smile at you a lot and say you have a pretty name, or start choking when I asked if we could leave before you two started dating?"
"I guess you're right," Catalina laughed, her smile brightening.
"Do you like him a lot?" Rose pried nosily. Though her cheeks didn't redden, Ambrosia knew Catalina felt embarrassed.
"I'm not sure yet; can you like someone greatly if you only just met them?" she stammered, frequently checking her rearview mirror. Ambrosia looked out her side mirror to find there was no traffic.
"I liked your brother a lot when I first saw him, but of course, he changed that by having an attitude from only being near me and by being rude during lunch towards this one girl... But after lunch, he was so kind and sweet to me. Demetri apologized for everything, and so far, I haven't regretted hanging out with him," Ambrosia smiled.
"I never knew that was how you guys first met... Okay, so you can like someone a great deal if you just met them."
"So, do you like Callum? It would be kind of weird if I was dating your brother and you were dating mine, but I would be fine with it as long as you were happy."
"Huh, I guess I do. I think he's funny, and I already told you he was cute," Catalina declared.
"Awe, I think you two would look cute together. I'll try and put in a good word for you... unless you don't want me to?"
"Please?!" Catalina exclaimed.
"Sure," Ambrosia answered, chuckling slightly. In return, Catalina gave one of her signature bright smiles.
"So... I have a question," Catalina spoke hesitantly.
In a soothing voice, Ambrosia replied, "What is it? You know you can ask anything of me." Catalina bit her lip, shifting in her seat.
"Would you want to come over to my house?" Ambrosia froze.
As much as she would love to meet Demetri's family, Rose was scared to even think about it. She got anxious thinking about meeting new people. She grew nervous thinking of speaking to someone who she's been in the same class with for a year; pathetic, she knew. Most of all, Rose got uneasy around boys. She unconsciously tended to be more social towards girls, even though she liked hanging out with boys the most; Ambrosia just had a hard time talking to them if that made sense. She was amazed how easy it was for her to talk to Demetri.
