When we entered the Campus grounds, they had us separate into alphabetical order. Since my last name began with an S, I was separated into the group of freshmen college students with the last name S. There weren't too many, but I felt bad for Kayla. Her last name was Lighton, so she had to stand with every single student with the last name of L. I couldn't help but snicker at how she looked extremely annoyed.
I was snapped from my thoughts as a hand touched my shoulder and turned me to face the owner of that hand. The guy who smelled like me and Kayla stood in front of me with curious dark blue eyes. His Black hair framed his face, and I began to wonder what his last name was for him to be here pulling me to face him.
"Yes?" I asked coldly.
The guy blinked and stared at me at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. He looked a bit shocked at my cold tone and before he could say anything, the teacher who oversaw separating us walked over to me. Her hand was on a clip board and a pen. Her dark brown hair was pulled into a bun and her dark blue glasses sat on her face with green eyes behind them.
"Name?" She asked not looking up from her clipboard.
"April Springs." I answered trying to be as polite as possible.
"April Springs? Huh...You're lucky you got here on time. Your hometown is quiet a drive away, right?" The teacher asked.
"Um...yes, ma'am." I mumbled looking away.
"How old are you?" She asked.
What the hell is with all these personal questions? I'll be lucky if I remembered my age with all this memory loss I suffered from during the previous three years of my life. I'd be shocked if I remembered anything from back then. I really hate having amnesia.
"Do not force me to repeat myself, Miss. Springs." The teacher snapped.
"I-I'm 22 years old." I mumbled.
"I didn't hear you correctly, Miss. Springs. Speak louder if you want to be heard around here." The teacher said with an icy tone.
"I'm 22 years old." I grumbled.
"Thank you." The teacher said before jotting stuff down on the clipboard. "Shirt size and skirt size please."
"Um...Medium shirt size and size 9 skirt size..." I said glancing at the guy as he snickered.
He's lucky I'm curious about him, otherwise I would have slapped him. His dark blue eyes were lit with amusement and I couldn't help, but feel like he had caught me in his happiness. I turned away the second he looked down at me and decided I'd just watch Kayla.
Kayla was being passed a white shirt with a dark blue skirt. The uniform at this school didn't really make sense to me one bit. If you're going to choose a white shirt, you need tan to make it work together. I glanced at the shirt only to see a large L printed on the front with Kayla's last name printed across the back.
"Name?" The teacher asked snapping me from my thoughts as I stared at the guy beside me.
"Jason Song." The guy said.
So, his name was Jason Song. That was interesting. I didn't realize he came from a wealthy family that's last name has been printed everywhere in the news articles. If he was so wealthy, why didn't he just go to an expensive college like that college everyone has been going to? Why did he choose Secluded Forest University instead of the Universities in the big bustling cities?
"I'm 22 years old." He said before winking at me.
I was about to let a growl out before a red-haired girl handed me a black shirt with a silver S on the front and a black skirt. Turning it around, I saw my last name printed across the back in silver letters. Below it was a quote from someone with the last name Winter. Watch your back in April. The shirt even was signed by the person too, but the first name seemed to be too worn down to read.
