Chapter Thirty Two
…………………………..
~Brielle’s POV~
It doesn’t make much sense, how the night could fly by, yet I can remember every detail of it.
Like when it was time to feed each other cake, and Niall’s laugh echoed through the microphone as I shoved a huge piece of cake in his face. Or how my dad’s eyes got glassy when the photographer took our picture, and when Niall’s face turned bright red because of Greg’s rather embarrassing best man speech. How could I possibly forget when Louis drank a bit too much and nearly dropped Eleanor on the dance floor, or when Liam practically shoved his whole head into the chocolate fountain. Don’t even get me started with Harry’s “dance” moves. Zayn didn’t have much time to get into any shenanigans because Perrie had him on the dance floor, against his will, practically the whole night.
Although there were some embarrassing moments, and finding any serious pictures in my wedding album is going to be a difficult task, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Everything was perfect, and I had the most beautiful time surrounded by everyone I love. And most importantly, I’m married to the man of my dreams.
A hug from behind pulled me out of my thoughts. “I think we should start heading back to our room” Niall whispered in my ear
“In a minute” I muttered, taking in the beauty of my surroundings. The cast members had just finished cleaning up Main Street, and the park was nearly completely empty. Everyone had gone back to their hotels, and Niall and I were standing alone in paradise. It was breathtaking.
“Come on, Princess, time to get to your castle” he laughed, sweeping me off my feet and carrying me into Cinderella Castle as if I were as light as a feather.
“We can’t be in the castle! They’re going to kick us out soon!” I protested in between laughs
“Louis arranged for us to have the castle suite to ourselves for the night!” Niall exclaimed
“No way!!! Really?!” I squealed, hugging him closer to me
“Really, really” he smiled, placing me gently on my feet as we stepped into the elevator
“Niall?” I smiled, wrapping my arms around his waist and snuggling into his chest
“Yes?” he answered
“You know you didn’t have to do all of this” I said, “Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved every second of today, but I don’t want you to think that I married you because of money or fame. I love you for you, and I would have married you if you proposed with a bubble gum machine ring you found in a dumpster.”
“I know I didn’t have to, I just wanted it to be something you’d remember forever” he smiled, kissing my forehead, “I want to make you happy”
“Do you know what the most memorable part of today was?” I asked
“What?” he smiled
“When you kissed me for the first time as my husband” I grinned, “When I realized that you would always be mine”
“Do you know what my favorite part was?” he asked
“Listening to Greg’s speech?” I laughed
“No, God, no; I think he literally told every embarrassing story he could think of” he chuckled, “My favorite part of tonight was when you first realized what was happening. I saw the shock on your face, and that beautiful smile.”
When the elevator doors opened, we were in awe at the beautiful suite that would be ours for the night. The suite was crafted to make you feel as if you literally stepped into a storybook, and details with a touch of magic that made it even more spectacular. I couldn’t imagine a better place to spend our first night as husband and wife together.
Wait a minute… Is tonight the night that I’m supposed to…?
I could feel my face reddening at the thought. Was I ready to give up my virginity tonight? Was I even physically able to do so in my condition? I obviously have no idea on what to do, or how it even starts. Niall and I have never gone further than making out, and even then it was rarely fiery and hot: it was passionate and gentle.
“Are you okay?” Niall asked nervously
“Yeah, I’m great” I blushed, trying to rid myself of the anxiety about what may or may not happen tonight.
“Okay, well, the boys moved all of our stuff up earlier tonight” he said, “you can get changed if you want, that dress can’t be comfortable”
“What are you saying about my dress?” I joked
“It’s beautiful, but I’m pretty sure it weighs more than you do” he laughed, “If this monkey suit is bothering me, I can’t imagine how uncomfortable the dress must be”
“Well, it is kind of uncomfortable” I laughed, “I guess I’ll get changed”
“Do you need help?” he asked
I was about to decline, but suddenly, I remembered that the dress has a corset style back and was laced up tightly. I couldn’t possibly get out of it on my own, even if I was completely healthy and balanced.
“Actually, I do” I blushed, “I mean, if you don’t mind”
“Of course I don’t” he said too quickly
I nervously followed him into the master bedroom, suddenly feeling even more off balanced than I had all day. The nerves were already getting to me.
“Come here” Niall said, as he led me in front of a large mirror.
I was still in awe of how handsome he was in a suit, and how incredibly different I looked all dressed up. It wasn’t a bad different though, this was the first time in a long time that I’ve felt beautiful. I watched as Niall’s reflection glanced up and down my body, and my cheeks were filling with a pink blush.
“You are so beautiful” he whispered and kissed my neck, “Don’t ever forget that”
My breath hitched as his warm kiss sent tingles down my spine. Niall began unlacing the ribbons of the corset, and I shivered as the cool air made contact with my bare back. When the back was completely open, he carefully slid it down my body, and the huge poof of the white dress was pooled at my feet. I glanced back in the mirror nervously as Niall’s eyes trailed over my body once more.
“I love you, Brielle” he muttered, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me up against him, “forever”
I was about to tell him that I loved him, but soon his warm lips were back on my neck, making me shiver. The feeling made my heart beat fast and my breathing become irregular. My eyes went back to our reflection, and I pulled the bobby pins and ties out of my hair, letting it fall around me in loose curls. I stood there, wearing a white, lacy strapless bra and matching underwear, unsure of what to do next.
“Niall, are we… are we?” I stuttered
A subtle blush crept across his cheeks, “I mean, I would, well, only if you want…” he stammered, pulling me closer.
“I’m just a bit nervous” I admitted, biting my lip
“We don’t have to, Brielle” he said, “I’d wait forever for you”
I turned around to face him, rather than his reflection, and wrapped my arms around his neck. He leaned down and kissed me softly, just as he always has. But suddenly, his kiss became more urgent, more passionate, and I couldn’t help but want to be even closer to him.
“I want to” I told him
“Are you sure?” he asked, slightly out of breath
I nodded, and the kiss picked up where it left off, leaving me breathless and wanting more. It was a strange feeling, to have him so close to me, yet not nearly close enough. I still had my doubts and worries, but with each touch, I felt at ease, and I knew that I was ready.
