Thirty minutes later I was still holding CeCe. I could feel her breathing in unison with me. I was itching to get up and move but I didn't want to let her go.

"Your leg is twitching." She giggled.

"Is it?"

"It's the Adderall. It's hard to sit still."

"Let's do something then."

CeCe pulled away from me and stood up.

"What do you want to do?"

"I'm up for anything."

I looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost ten. I didn't even realize we had been down here that long.

"Friday is a midnight curfew right?" I asked.

"Yep."

"Let's go to the park."

"You want to leave? In the middle of the night?"

"Yeah don't you?"

"I always want to leave I just wasn't expecting you to."

"Let's go on an adventure!" I said a little too loud.

"Shh." CeCe giggled. "Ann and Michael are probably already sleeping."

I nodded and took her hand leading her up the stairs.

"Wait." She said as we got to the top of the steps.

She pulled the little bag of pills from her pocket, handed me one and took one for herself.

"Take this now and it will kick in by the time we get to the park." She smiled.

"I can still feel the first one."

"Just do it, you'll like it."

I didn't even bother trying to fight back I just swallowed it and took her hand again.

We slowly and quietly sneaked through the house. Trying not to run into any furniture in the dark. I'm not sure why but we both felt like we needed to sneak out.

Once we shut the front door we stared running.

"First one to the tree wins!" CeCe yelled as she began running faster.

I didn't bother trying to keep up. She would have more fun if she won.

It didn't take us long before we both collapsed in front of the tree, laughing and trying to catch our breath.

"You let me win." CeCe gasped.

"I don't know what your talking about." I replied rolling on my side to face her.

She rolled over to face me. Her face was inches from mine glistening in the moonlight. I couldn't help but stare at her. She thought she was broken but I thought she was beautiful even with the scars.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked.

"You." I replied.

"What about me?"

"I was thinking about how beautiful you are."

She giggled again and started to blush. I moved so I could lean over her never taking my eyes off hers. She had a hint of fear in her eyes but never told me to stop. I moved my head towards hers and kissed her softly.

"Aaron." She whispered.

I pulled back slightly so I could see her face.

"Promise you won't hurt me." She said with a hint of fear.

I understood what she meant. This wasn't something she took lightly. Not something she's ever had control of. Love wasn't written in our dictionary they way it was in everybody else's. Love was pain. Total and complete torture.

"I could never hurt you without hurting myself first." I finally replied.

She took a deep breath and leaned up to kiss me again. I leaned down to meet her lips.

I slowly starting to rub my hand up the side of her stomach. She gasped and I pulled away.

"We don't have to do this." I said softly. "We don't even have to kiss if you don't want to."

"I don't want you to stop."

"Are you sure?"

She nodded and we began kissing. I kissed down her neck and she let out a soft moan to let me know what I was about to do was okay. I sat up for a minute to take off my shirt. CeCe gasped when she saw the scars on my chest, sitting up to kiss each one.

Her kisses sent chills down my entire body. I tugged at the hem of her shirt and she leaned back enough to take it off. I put my hand on her back and laid her down carefully. I went back to kissing her neck, down her chest and her stomach. Once I reached the top of her shorts I looked back up at her. Checking one last time to see if she was really okay.

She nodded her head, so I continued.

The rest of it was just a blur. My hands touched every inch of her body just as her hands had done to mine. Everything was quiet except for a few soft moans escaping her lips. And then it was over as quickly as it started.

Once we had finished we got dressed and laid in the grass looking at the stars. Neither one of us spoke. I wanted to know what she was thinking but I as sure her minding was racing just as fast as mine. We had just shared the most intimate moment together and it led to a million and one questions and feelings.

"What are you thinking about now?" CeCe whispered so softly I almost didn't hear.

"I never stopped thinking about you."

I didn't look over but I could feel her smile. A genuine smile. Nothing like that evil grin she always gets.

"I've never done that before. I mean...not like...I..." She stuttered.

"Me either." I said interrupting her.

I didn't want to feel like she had to explain. I knew what she was trying to say.

" We should probably get back to the house. If Ann and Michael wake up they might actually get pretty pissed this time.

I nodded and stood up, reaching my arm out to help her stand.

"Such a gentlemen." She said reaching for my hand.

We walked slowly back to the house. Neither of us really wanted to leave.

"Is your mind racing with thoughts too?" CeCe asked nervously.

"Yeah."

"Are you happy?"

"Yes. Are you?"

''More than I've been in a long time."

I stopped walking and pulled her into me, gently putting my hand on her face and brushing hair behind her ear.

"Me too." I said and leaning down to kiss her one more time before we had to pretend nothing happened.
