Captain Jack suddenly awoke in a large cave.
He looked at his wrist to find the vortex manipulator had disappeared.
"Hello?" he shouted.
He was on his own.
He jumped to his feet and spun around when he heard a noise. It turned out the Opax was getting good use of the vortex manipulator as he conjured himself from the thin air.
"It's rude to take other's belongings," Jack snapped.
The Opax made a growling, inhumane sound coming from the back of its throat.
"I don't know what that means," Jack muttered.
But he hadn't long to figure out because the Opax made a running start toward him and slashed at him with a dagger he'd hidden behind his claw.
Captain Jack cried out in pain but he danced it off.
"You know I'm immortal, right?" he laughed.
The Opax actually smirked at Jack and then pointed at the goo that covered the dagger and now Jack's arm where he'd been cut.
"Do you know what this is?" the Opax asked.
Jack hadn't the faintest idea how the Opax was speaking but he figured it was something to do with the TARDIS that was nearby.
He looked at it, studied it, then shook his head.
"Urm, no?"
"This liquid can kill any immortal being," the Opax answered.
Jack scoffed and he didn't believe the creature. But the sharp, agonising pain in his cut told him otherwise and he fell to the floor, ready for his end.
"I suppose it's about time," he muttered.
And the Opax walked closer with the dagger.
