Caspar's crush

I woke up lying on Rileys chest, i take my phone and check the time; 9:49. I look up at Riley who is still asleep looking beautiful as he always is. I lied there for a little before Riley woke up too. He took me home and then he left.

I was in my room, on my bed just looking up at my ceiling, thinking. Just thinking about how happy i am to be on good terms with Riley again. Just thinking about how happy he makes me. God damn. Im so lucky.

I was snapped out of my day dream by knocking at the window. None other than Caspar. He opened up my window and stepped in. 'Whats with that stupidly large smile on your face?' He asked.
'Nothing, don't worry. Just had a good night.'
'Yeah i saw Riley and you the other night but you weren't here yesterday sooo... What did you do?'
'We, uh, we spent the day together and then we had a late night picnic and fell asleep accidentally' i say blushing
'Oh, I see, you "fell asleep" sure sure. Don't worry Ell, i know what "falling asleep" really means!' He says before winking at me.
'Oh shut up Caspar, we literally just fell asleep, not everyone is as dirty as you' i laughed
'Oh come on Ell you can't really tell me that you're still a virgin at the age of what 18' he asked looking incredibly intrigued but still with a cheeky grin on his face
I gulped and looked down at the floor, due to this uncomfortable topic.
'Yes, Caspar, yes i am. And you?' I say smiling a fake smile
'Of course not, you must be crazy if you think that looking like this I could still be a virgin' he says rubbing the back of his neck and laughing
'Oh really, because i have a feeling that you are a virgin but your too scared to admit it because of your "masculinity" and am I right' i say laughing and looking at him whilst he's blushing
'Oh shut up' he says throwing a pillow at me.
'And if you tell anyone then i swear Ell'
'I KNEW IT' i shouted 'and don't worry Cas i wont' i say laughing still

A few hours later...

We were in the kitchen getting some snacks, I was sitting on the kitchen counter eating some grapes as Caspar was looking through my cupboards for some food. He was telling me about some stupid thing that him and his friends did before he moved here. A buzz from my phone interrupted him and he took my phone before i could reach it and read the message.
'Hey beautiful, i had an amazing day with you yesterday and i had a really great time last night too, see you at school tomorrow baby doll, I love you.'
Caspar read out.
I jump onto his back trying to retrieve my phone from his hands, it doesn't work, he plops me back onto the floor and i chase him around my kitchen before finally regaining my phone. I jump back onto the counter and i quickly reply, and throw a grape at Caspar.
'Come on Ell, you know that that sounds a lot like you did a little something else' he winks
'Oh piss off Caspar' i say laughing.
He laughs back, 'Wait. What time is it?' He asks.
'22:24, why?'
'Oh shit! I have to go my parents will be back at eleven and they said that I'm grounded if the house isn't completely spotless! I have to go sorry' he says rushing up the stairs into my room.
'Umm wait Caspar'
he looks back at me as he climbs onto my window ledge
'I mean, I can help you, if you want. Cause then it'll be quicker and your house is massive so there is no way that you'll be done by yourself in half an hour and we can listen to music and what not'
'I like your thinking doll face' he says gesturing for me to go onto the ladder after him

We clean the house whilst listening and singing to High School Musical songs. At 23:06 we hear his parents pull up and i leg it to his room to go back to my house so that his parents don't find me there. 'Doll face, wait'. I look back at Caspar. 'Thank you, i couldn't have done it without you' he says removing a strand of hair from my face, pulling me into a tight hug. We hugged for a second or two and then i left through the window, on the ladder, just as i had entered. I got back and sat on my bed. I kinda just thought about how lucky i am with Riley as my boyfriend and Caspar as my best friend. 

I decided that now was a great time to go to sleep so i stop thinking about it. Also, school is tomorrow which makes me want to cry but i really have to go sleep instead.

As i was falling into my slumber all i could think about was Caspar. I was just about to fall asleep when i got a call. Speak of the devil, it was Caspar . I answer the call and Caspar asked me to go outside and sit on the window ledge.

I put my phone down and go sit outside to see Caspar himself just waiting there. We start speaking for a little while just small talk. His head drops down as do his eyes, no longer making eye contact with me. I see him take a deep breath in.

'Ell, I really need to tell you something...'

'Yeah Cas'

'I um, I really like this girl but um, she has a boyfriend. Do I tell her, or not or like should i wait?' he said nervously, scratching behind his neck

'Well, um. It really depends. Do you know if she likes you too?'

'Thats the thing, i feel like she maybe does or at least would if she didn't have a boyfriend. But i don't want to say anything so that i don't ruin our friendship'

'Yeah, that makes sense. Well I say if you build up the confidence then tell her but don't expect things to be the same afterwards because realistically it'll change your relationship. Or you could wait it out until they break up, but also just remember that you can't ruin their relationship to build your own with her . I don't know Cas, what does your heart tell you to do?'

'I don't know Ell, it's been driving me crazy, I... I love her, i love everything about her. Her smile, her eyes, her laugh, just everything about this girl is so perfect. I want to tell her, so badly but im scared that she wont feel the same or that our friendship will be ruined, or that i will ruin her relationship.'

'Awhhh Caspar, you really like this girl don't you.' I say looking at him as he looks down avoiding eye contact.

'Yeah, i really do.' he says laughing a little

'I don't know Cas, stick with your gut and if you feel as if you should tell her then do but if you don't want to jeopardise what you already have together then maybe wait a little. Sorry, I know it sucks waiting but sometimes its the best thing and it pays off in the end.'

'Thank you Ell' he smiled

'No problem Caspar, im always here for you and willing to help you out with anything you ever need. Also, i was wondering, can i know who this mystery girl is?'

'Umm, uh, maybe another time, i think i'll just keep it to myself for now, sorry'

'It's fine don't worry about it, I was just wondering but you don't have to tell me if you don't want to ' i say smiling

'Thank you Ell, you have no idea how much this helped me. Thank you! We should probably do to sleep as it is like 2 am. Thanks again for this Ell.'

'No problem Cas, always'

We both stand up and just as i'm about to go back into my room, i heard Caspar.

'Good night Ell, love you'

'Love you too, Cas. Good night'

I climbed through the window and fell onto my bed and fell asleep almost instantly...
