((The angst subplot is going to be a bit long because her husband didn't have just one or two affairs, he had at least four. Her family actually made him end one because they were that unhappy about it. It's also stated that Adrienne was very tolerant of Lafayette's affairs, but I'm sure that it had to eat her up inside. I understand that I'm not good enough for him, I understand that I never will be...but I don't need to be reminded of that with him having these extra-marital affairs.
I tolerate them because I know he deserves better than I can provide.
