I don't understand why Gilbert can be so jealous sometimes. I mean, I'm no society beauty, nor am I the most interesting woman to converse with. I highly doubt that there would be a man other than my husband that would ever find me attractive.
I guess I just don't understand why he thinks other men may flirt with me. There would never be anyone who wants to take me away from him.
