Bonjour! I am Virginie and Mama said I could write in a page of her diary.
My full name is Marie Antoinette Virginie Motier de Lafayette, but I go by Virginie.
That part of my name came from Monsieur Jefferson who suggested naming me after the American state of Virgina.

Mama has been acting strange lately, almost as if she's out of it.
I haven't said anything to Papa, but I don't think he's really noticed...
She's been drawing a lot too, which is really strange.
