Dear diary
I sound jealous, don't I?
Well, maybe it's because I am...
Gilbert's fling with Aglaé almost always had them fighting, almost to the point of breaking the relationship off. Every single time, Gilbert would beg her to stay with him, no matter what reason she gave him to end the affair. He even fought duels for her, as he was incredibly jealous of her husband. He always thought she was a very beautiful woman. It was said that their affair was full of passion.
When the relationship ended, Gilbert wrote her a letter. It began like this, You are too cruel, my dear Aglaé. You realize my heart's torments.
Am I jealous that Aglaé was able to keep my husband under a spell of almost true passion? Of course I am!
It hurts....
