This is set 1 year on from the final episode...eveything is great untill a familiar face shows up and leaves everyone wanting answers. (read to find out more)
I woke up and instantly smiled. Stephen lay next to me, with his arms protectively around my waist and my head was rested on his chest. I look up at Stephen and smile and he's still fast asleep. "Morning babe" I say placing a kiss and Stephen's lips. His eyes open and he looks at me. "Morning beautiful. What a way to be woken up.." He says, returning the favour and placing a single kiss on my lips.
We stayed like this for another 20 minutes or so before we have to go and get ready for work. Stephen showers first whilst I pick out what I want to wear and text Newt quickly.
K- Hey Newt. Ill see you around 9am? Going to talk with the team then come to you. :) Thanks again.
I hit send and wait for a reply. Its not long before my phones buzzes, indicating I have a message.
N- Hey K! Yeah that's fine, I'll see you then. Not a problem, always happy to help a friend. :)
I place my phone back down on the bedside table just as Stephen leaves the bathroom. We share a quick kiss before I hobble into the bathroom, still with this stupid boot, and take a shower. I still have to wear the boot for 1-2 more weeks. Although I'll be helping out Newt in the infirmary, I think these next few weeks will feel like forever. Even when I don't have to wear the boot, it will be another 1-2 weeks of physio before I can return to active duties.
I have a quick shower and get dressed into the clothes I picked out earlier. I put on my light blue skinny jeans with my black Nike sports top, my black biker leather jacket and my black combat boots. I grab my black and gold Adidas bag before heading to the kitchen to meet Stephen.

We decided to take the bike today, as its actually quite a nice day. Of course Stephen is driving, I'm not stupid. We have a quick breakfast before leaving the house as its 8am. My put on our helmets and hop on the bike. Stephen turns it on and revs the engine a few times, before starting the ride to the ARC.
Its around 08:15 when we arrive at the ARC. We park my bike and head inside. We swipe through security before heading to 'our' office to put our thing down. We share a quick kiss before heading for the 'common room' as we call it, it's basically our chill out room. We decided it would be best to tell everyone about us now, before someone finds out. We walk into the common room, hand in hand. When we walk in, everyone (a.k.a the team) stops what they're doing once they notice me and Stephen. Nobody says anything, but everyone starts smiling from ear-to-ear. Its Connor who speaks, "Ehh, anything you guys want to tell us?" He says, gesturing to our hands. We smile. "Actually, we do. Me and Stephen are dating" I say looking at Stephen, then at the others. Everyone cheers and congratulates us.
After sitting and chatting with the guys for a bit, I look up at the time and see it nearly 9am. "Ok, well, I'll see you guys later. I'm gunna go help Newt now." I say waving goodbye to the team and quickly kissing Stephen, before making my way to meet Newt in the infirmary.
"Morning, morning, morning" I say, once I find Newt. He looks ups from his desk before standing up. "Good morning, you ready for such an exciting day?" He ask me in a very sarcastic voice, trying his best not to laugh.
We get to work. We stop for a quick lunch break around 1 before continuing our work. Its around 5pm when we finish todays task. Lets just say the medical cabinet if very organised! I sit and talk to Newt for a while. He takes and quick x-ray of my ankle and examines it for me. The good news is its healing and I can wear an ankle boot, instead of full size one.

I thank Newt once again and make my way to my office, where I planned to meet Stephen. I buzzin and sit down at my desk. I radio Jess and she tells me the team is just finishing at a call out, so I check through my emails and complete and mission reports I have. Its not long before Stephen returns, looking exhausted. We share a quick kiss before we head out to the bike.
We stop off at one of our favourite restaurants for dinner before heading home. We both take a shower before snuggling up and watching a movie. This is the best feeling, being in the arms of someone who makes you feel safe and warm. Its not long before we both drift off to sleep, me just before Stephen. I think I really love Stephen and I really want us to last. He makes me feel safe. Hes my rock, hes my person.
