Bea's POV
"Beatriz!"
Bungad sakin ni Tita, with a hug.
"Tita Bambi! I missed you!"
I said back and hugged her tighter.
"Buti pa si Mommy, hinug mo, pero ako di mo hinug nung nagkita tayo! Hays!"
Kianna said and pouted,
"Tara dine! Group hug."
Tita said and hinila sya,
"You still smell so good, Bi."
When Kianna whispered that napahinto ako and looked at her kasi the last time she called me that was when we were high school. Nung nagkaaminan kami.
"Ah, Mom cooks your favorite! Let's eat."
Pag-iiba nya ng topic.
"S-sure."
And I sat beside her.
While eating, it's so quite that so I broke it.
"Tita, ang sarap pa din ng mga gawa mo."
I said and smiled,
"So masarap yung kay Kimmus? Gawa ko yan eh."
Sa sinabi ni Tita na yun, parehas kami ni Kianna na nasamid.
"Mom! And oh please, stop with my ugly nickname!"
Iritadong sabi ni Kianna,
"Oh my! I'm so sorry Bea."
She apologized,
"What's wrong? What I meant is masarap ka din magluto!"
We sighed in relief when Tita explained it.
Napa-face palm na lang si Kianna.
"Bakit ano ba yung iniisip nyo?"
Tanong ni Tita while looking at us.
"H-"
"Wala, Mom! Bea needs to go home na, hinahanap na sya ng girlfriend nya eh! Diba?"
Kianna said and asked while looking at me.
I just nodded,
"Ah, opo Tita, babalik na lang po ako. Thanks for inviting me!"
"Ang bilis naman, bitin ako! Pero sige, next time I'll invite you ng mas maaga so you can hang out with us longer, or sama mo din girlfriend mo."
Tita knows that I'm into girls, but she doesn't know that Kianna too.
Tumayo na kami and Kianna insisted na ihahatid nya ko.
"See you again, Tita!"
Pagpapaalam ko and Kianna drove off.
"Gosh, Bea. I'm so sorry with Mom!"
Kianna apologized ulit but I said it's okay twice.
"Sanay na ko kay Tita, sadyang, ah, na-, naging ano lang tayo."
Okay, this conversation is getting awkward.
"Sama mo si Jho next time ah? I want to get to know her."
She said to change the topic and smiled without looking at me.
"Sure... And uh, Kianns, uhm, about kanina when you called me, uhm, you know."
"When I called you 'Bi'?"
She asked,
"Yes."
